you know for a while I wanted some tool box guns/garage guns, some kind of not a expensive one but something I could leave as a extra pistol somewhere. I used to own a gun like this when I was a kid, cheap, shiny nickle finish, but the thing ALWAYS went boom, I bought 2 of these Cobras assuming they would at least shoot with the right ammo. I was wrong, dont know if I just had bad luck, could not fire more that 2 in a row because FTF, on both of them. I ended up sending them both back, they said they replaced one part on one of them but when they came back and I tried again, pretty much the same problem, been in the safe ever since. maybe one day I will take them out and really look at them since I know a bit more about guns in general now. I did use there recomended ammo also. Just dont think you should have to buy a gun and go out and file the rough spots, never know, could be the magazines.

Ok it is what it is, a cheap pistol but it works! Mine required a small break in period, 30 some rounds. The first time I shot it, it would not pick up the first round out of a fully loaded mag so I had to only load 5 rounds in the mag. Then it would jam, fail to feed, fail to eject, basically just wouldn't run through 5 rounds without a problem or two. The extractor would fail to grab an unfired round or fired round for a while. After going through about 30 some rounds the little pot metal princess started to take the first round out of the mag when I went back to loading 6 in it. That's a good sign! The failure to feed lessened. The failure to extract and eject lessened. Now I can load a full mag,6 rds, and fire off all six without a problem. I have only put 50 rounds through it thus far. I think I got a winner, not a carry gun but still a winner. ( Some people suggest running them well lubed, I am running mine dry.)

Good pistol for the money, not gonna find a better value than this one. It jammed up on me outta the box but after a quick cleaning it was working straight. Very user friendly gun, easy to shoot easy to maintain. Plus it came with a lock and case. Buds shop is the best Igot the gun in 4 days
