Just received my P1/P38 from Buds. Such a cool gun. Great shape. Manufactured 1974. Minor dings, but after a good cleaning, gun is perfect for the number of years. Well worth the investment. Thanks Buds for the opportunity to buy a piece of the past.

This was my first purhcase from Bud's and the experience was very positive. The weapon was shipped quickly despite the holiday weekend. The item iteself, while very well used, arrived in good condition. It was functionally perfect, and the trip to the range showed an accurate pistol that was a joy to shoot. Will be coming back to Bud's in the future for more!

I was hoping to receive a nice late/improved model P1 with the hex pin reinforcement in the frame, "fat slide", and white dot sights. The luck of the draw gave me an early military model marked "P38" that was manufactured in 1962. Overall, the pistol is in good 85% condition with only minor wear of the grey parkerized finish. My major grip is the ugly import mark applied by PW Arms on the right side of the slide that covers the date of manufacture. It would have been much better placed on the front strap of the frame in my opinion. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and expect this "Cold War Warrior" to be a good shooter by the looks of the clean bore and decent trigger pull in double and single action. Bud's delivered a good product as advertised.

This gun was more in NRA good condition than very good. It cleaned up well and should fire fine. The one I received was made in 1977. Wish it was in better condition, but overall I am happy with the price and quality.
