Wow!! This gun is off the chiz-no!!!! This is one fine piece of equipment. I put 50 rounds of Talamo Ammo through this gun, and the gun was flawless. I thought a gun that I only paid $365 would be a piece of cheese. This gun is a steak! As soon as I can I'm going to buy another one. Only one small issue I had with this gun: It takes 8 bullets in the mag and spits out perfectly, but when I put an extra one in the chamber, it doesn't fire. I might get two or three of these guns...this is a keeper. If you want a monster, go buy one today! This is no joke, this gun will not choke. If a gun shoots these dirt bullets it will shoot anything.

Bought the MC1911-G2 from Bud's for $365. Haven't fired a round yet, but from first impressions out of the box, this thing has a great fit and finish, trigger is crisp and light, no slop whatsoever. Classic GI style was what I was going for and other than the slanted slide serrations, it is exactly that. Can't ask for a better deal than this. You get a quality .45cal pistol, a historically significant one, and one that is made by a quality manufacturer, with Bud's standing behind them (or in front of em)... it shipped to my FFL very quickly, and I just can't wait to send some rounds down range!

I got my Girsan 1911 45 cap couple of days ago and to day it made it to the range for the first time, this is my first 1911 and I was really worry because I got it for a very low price, well I'm surprised, it's very good and accurate out of the box, even before doing any shooting it feels good in your hand, this is a full size 5" 1911 and I'm not a big man but still feels good in my hand, no wobbling no matter how much you shake it, a very good barrel frame fit, but after playing around and shooting 120 round at the rang I noticed tiny tearing under the thumb safety, my Girsan is black and the tearing shows like a scratch , I don't know if I should expect more tearing like this soon or not, but still like what I got for hat price, I'm planing to install extended thumb safety and hope this will cover the scratch , the mag that came with the pistol in the nice plastic padded hard case is a good magazine actually, today I shot both steel and brass ammo and the standard mag gave me no problem at all, I just bought 2 Wilson combat match mags and the standard mag performed no less of the Wilson combat one, I'm happy with my Girsan 1911 pistol and looking to go to the fire range a lot , the shopping experience at budsgunshop.com was great, shipping was very fast.

I received my new Girsan 1911 45 on 05/07/2014, today, 05/16/2014, was the first time I had a chance to take it to the range. Ran 100 rounds of TulAmmo 230 Gr. FMJ through it with no problems, if it will shoot this ammo with no problems it will shoot anything. I am very pleased the way it shoots, very smooth trigger out of the box. Smother than anything other pistil I have at this time. It is very accurate if you can see the GI sights, I put some white paint on the front sight, helps a lot. Over all I am very pleased with this gun, I will recommend this gun.

Recieved this gun today and it is quite nice..The fit and finish are excellent...Very smooth trigger, just a little heavier than I would like, but no creep and it is smooth. The one magazine included is hard to latch in with 8 rds, but OK with 7...It would be nice if a takedown tool was included..Overall, it is a very nice gun and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another but the few minor things just allow me to give it a 4 rating..If you don't mind putting a few bucks into it, you will have a gun just as good as a Colt or Springfield, worthy of a 5 rating
