All in all I have been very happy with this gun. I purchased it mostly as a mule to tear apart and learn all about 1911's but after putting 500 rounds down range and getting used to it, I'm leaving as is for. Now. My first 100 rounds I have 7-10 FTF issues but then tore the gun down completely to clean and no issues since. For the money, it's pretty dang good. I did purchase the enhanced warranty as a precaution, but I wouldn't worry about it after seeing and using. Buds was great to deal with and I look forward to more dealings.

I just received my new Girsan .45 and have had a chance to fire a couple of hundred rounds of several different types of ammo. The gun was flawless, with no malfunctions of any kind. It sighted true and hit the target right at POA. After a field strip to clean and oil it, I was surprised to see the quality of the parts and reassembly proved that everything fit back together with tight tolerances. I'm sure that once the gun is broken in it will only improve the somewhat tight trigger pull. The case, literature and accessories (one magazine) that accompany the gun are basic, as you would expect for at the $400 price point. I have several .45's in the 1911 configuration, so I do have extra magazines. The best part is the Bud's backs the gun up with a no-nonsense fix it or replace it warranty. Buy one with confidence and have fun shooting it!

Finally got to shoot it, and, boy, the positive reviews were spot on! Went through 200 rounds of hard ball 230 gr. without a hitch. Very good trigger...no creep, smooth...no complaints. The Wilson Combat I shot had a better trigger but not that much. No problems with the magazine that came with it or an 8 round Wilson Combat, but 3 Chip McCormick mags would not seat, so be aware of possible magazine issues. This is a value and well worth the little you'd spend on it.

Just got my pistol yesterday. I was a bit unhappy with the time it took to get here, but the 5 days check clearing time was the main holdup...plus some problems with their shipping dept. All in all, looks to be an excellent gun. I have inspected it thoroughly, took it apart, cleaned and back together. Very tight, good lock up. I am very happy with this gun. My first 1911. The walnut grips are amazing...very very nice. I tried a Ruger mag in it, didn't lock up, tried a Kimber and fit perfectly. I don't think there will be any problem finding extra mags. I too paid $395 with the make an offer, paid the $4 for insurance and $20 for the transfer fee. So, I have the $419 total invested in it. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet, but expect good things. Thank you budsgunshop.com. I will buy more through your store.

Excellent pistol for the money! Shot over 200 rounds flawlessly. Got it for 395 on the make a offer deal and was well worth it, sights are solid black, so a little paint on the front and you are set

WELL WORTH THE PRICE I PAID. NOT A EXACT CLONE. MY COLT AND POWER MAGS DID NOT FIT IN THIS 1911. MY SHOOTING STARS FIT FINE,THE GRIP SCREWS ARE NOT TO SPEC. I RAN 120 ROUNDS THROUGH IT WITH 1 FTF. NOT BAD FOR A BREAK IN. FIT AND FINISH ARE VERY GOOD. THE SIGHTS ARE OK NOT GREAT. A SOLID 4 STARS. THIS MAKES A FUN RANGE GUN OR FIRST 1911.
