I got my Tisas 45 APC in less than a week from Buds which I think was incredible seeing how I goofed when I sent in my payment and forgot to put my order number on my certified check. Buds was all over it and got it shipped the day after they got it. As far as the gun it is a good solid well made weapon. I took it to the range without cleaning it and put 100 rounds down range with 2 FTF's. Not bad at all. I am a little disappointed though, she shoots left. The line was dead on, but at 15 yards she shoots about 10 inches left. If it wasn't for that, she would have been a solid 5. Now I have to decide if I want to spend the money on new sights. That might run half the price of the weapon. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced 45, do not hesitate to consider the Tisas.

Love it , great value . I am new to the 1911 platform and didn't want to spend a lot of money for a gun I don't utilize often. First time buds buyer , but It won't be the last . Only complaint is in order to get the cash discount funds must be sent via ACH transfer and the processing time is a ridiculus 5 day processing. I work do a financial institution and can tell you it's 3 days max. Not a big complaint , just a little long for someone who's waiting for a new toy.

Purchased numerous weapons from Buds, good service as usual. I thought I would try out this Tisas since I have had very good luck with Turkish weapons in the past. I lived in Turkey for 3 years, the Turks take great pride in their machining skills and this 1911 will not disappoint. Fine fit and finish. I believe I like my Girsan a little better, I like the glossy finish better than flat, but that's just me....but as far as the two shoot, both are fine, no failures, no issues. It shot a little low and to the right a tad, but once that was figured out....flawless, brain spatters, every shot. Works as well as my Kimber, Colt and Remington....believe me or not, your prerogative....In the future I will be buying more Turkish made weapons, as long as I can get good quality at a MUCH lower brainer. I would also like to add, my FFL bud, whom is a Master Gunsmith was very pleased with both the Girsan and Tisas, but like myself favored the finish on the Girsan...not to knock the Tisas....they both went POW, no issues, internals are very well failures 200rds at range yesterday.

I purchased two standard Zig M 1911s and used both for six days of intensive defensive handgun training. That meant more than 600 rounds through one and more than 300 rounds through the other -- with no cleaning until after the training. Both ran flawlessly along side my old Colt GI 1911. I used four different makes of magazines without malfunctions or failures, and I was impressed with the fit and finish of each Tisas. The instructors noticed that I ran the 1911s too dry, something that was easily remedied. I completed the training with high confidence in the reliability of each Tisas. One note: during hundreds of timed drills, it was common to get hammer bite above the web of the strong hand, something that has not occurred during subsequent range practice at a slower pace. I plan to supplement the standard models with enhanced models in future training so that less blood flows down the grip safety.

Had some premature slide lock out of the box but a little filing on the slide lock lever corrected the issue quickly. 50 rounds later it runs flawlessly and would buy again. Well built and good finish.
