I've had my Tisas 1911 since Sept 2014, have put over 700 rnds down range and have this to say: First the finish looks like it's painted on not a true blue or parkerized, the sights are very small, and the trigger is about 6lbs and gritty......It's probably the best Combat Pistol I have ever bought !!!!! I have never had any problems with it feeding any type of ammo, accuracy is awesome for a combat style pistol and did I mention 100% reliable straight out of the box. No break in period, no take apart and oil before being fired. I took advantage of the 180 day lay-a-way when it was available for this model and those transactions went flawlessly, when I made the final payment it was sitting at my FFL in no time. Thanks Buds The magazine is a MecGear and it has performed admirably along with all the ammo the pistol has gobbled up. This is my 4th or 5th purchase from Buds and as always very quick shipping and absolutly hassle free, keep up the good work Buds. Cant say enough good things about this pistol, for a combat style 1911 (no frills) and with a price of $349.00 you can't go wrong with the Tisas 1911 or Buds Gun Shop. OH!! did I mention 100% reliable ???

Received gun today and was really expecting it to be loose and sloppy. All I can say is wow. Fit and finish is really nice. Arrived at my Ffl in 4 days. If you are thinking of getting one now's probly the time as I'm sure these will rise in price the more known they get to be.

I bought this on 12-24-15 and picked it up on the following Thursday. Really thought with it being the holidays it would take a few weeks before I would get it. SOOO hats off to Buds Gun Shop. As for the 1911 it really exceeded my expectations. Worth every cent....gotta get one.

Satisfied with my purchase. I knew it was not a top end 1911 therefore did not expect it so be. It has performed well with a few breakin hickups. After ~300 rounds it has loosened up and I went and and polished the feed ramp with 1000 grit sand paper. Works great as a budget gun and for me to practice scratching it up before I spend more on a nicer model.

Good solid gun. Nothing to be ashamed of here. You will probably want to replace the grips. The spring set seemed to be very much on the heavy side, so I spent fifteen bucks on a complete spring kit from Wilsons. The thing looks great. Runs like a top. I have paid twice as much and got half as much in gun world more than once. This is a good gun. I think that it may be the gun deal of the century.

Awesome 1911. I am truly impressed. Out of the box it was excellent to shot and accurate. I eventually replaced the slide spring, 4 # trigger and assembly, and the hammer, along with new VZ grips. Just made it better. I am still shocked at the price point. Simply unbelievable value as this is far from a $350 gun. Now, I want to get a Tisas extended beavertail, but can't find anyway to get parts from Tisas. Any ideas? I have 3 other 1911's and I shoot this the most with my Kimber Ultra Carry II being second.
