I love this gun. I had an old tiger 10-22 but this is much lighter and just looks a lot better. Buds had it for a great price and it was very convenient to pick up at my local dealer.

This is my favorite little go-to rifle for rodent control. It's light weight, accurate and the casing self-ejects ready to fire again immediately. This gun is the best for lower cost ammunition, while reliably achieving a clean, humane kill.

Good, reliable, accurate .22 rifle. I wanted a good, sturdy, knock around 22 to throw in the back of the van. I've owned half a dozen or so Marlin 22s over the past 65 years that all were all GREAT little rifles and I'm not a fan of clip fed 22s so the Marlin 60 was the obvious choice. As it turns out it was a EXCELLENT choice. It is as accurate as any of my old Marlins, goes bang every time I pull the trigger (take the gun apart and clean and lubricate it after 400 - 500 rounds and the trigger is just fine) and the plastic stock is pretty much indestructible. I put a $25 scope on it and can hit a pop can at 200 yards. What more could you want from a 22?

I have owned several of these over the years but this was the first synthetic stock version. It is much lighter than my stainless steel model that I have had for many years. I plan to use this gun to teach my child to shoot. The service from Buds was excellent.

I purchased this last year (October 2017) and took my son with me to shoot. For a .22 it was smooth, with very little movement in the riffle when you pulled the trigger. This Marlin has a great feel weather you shot 1 at a time or continuous. I had a cracked trigger guard that I found when cleaning it before I went out. Marlin quickly sent out a new one before my son and I went shooting. Even though he had never shot before he was accurate at the range and had a blast. Thanks Bud's.

Notice: This model no longer has Swivel Mounts. They have been replaced with a molded stock that has holes that you can mount a loop thru. I bought this version specifically so I could use my swivel mount bi-pod with it, and now that is not possible without modification. If I knew the stock had changed I would have bought the wooden version for about the same price which I could easily mount swivels too. Other than that issue, the gun performs flawlessly.

Bought for my step-son for Christmas. Went and shot it at the range he loved it. I even enjoyed shooting it. Marlin 60 was my very first gun. Shot bulk ammo through it and never had a problem. Bud's like always great price and service.

I ordered the gun on a Friday night, and I picked it up from my FFL on Wednesday. Phenomenal service from Buds as always. The gun came in great shape and fired nicely. Everything was as expected.

Great gun, 500 rounds in with 3 issues due to wal-mart ammo. I did oil the lowers before the first shot, I found metal machine shavings and a lack of oil which is why I am leaving a 4-star review.

Just my opinion. If you are looking for a semi 22lr rifle and are not going to go wild aftermarket accessories the trusty Marlin Model 60 is THE way to go.

I've had a model 60 for many years. This new one seems to be just as accurate as my older one. It is a great, well built, tube fed semi-auto. No misplacing magazines with the 14 round tube. I don't think you can go wrong with this light-weight tack driver. It is great for plinking or varmints. It is a little more expensive than the one I've had for years but still a bargain when compared to other .22 semi-autos. I'd say that I'll buy it again, but I already have. No regrets. Nice rifle. Can't beat the price.
