I just bought this a couple weeks ago and love it. I\'ve been using the handgun .410 loads with 000 buck 4 bearings. at 21 feet, it consistently has a tight 9 in spread. The recoil isnt as bad as I thought it would be and shoots where you aim it. I use it for my conceal carry at times. The ammo isnt cheap unless you go to a hunting round. The grip has a great feel and cushions the recoil nicely. I dont know how much better the S&W could be, but for the price at Bud\'s, you cant go wrong.

The price wa right, the gun arrived quickly and the Judge shoots great. I was pinging the 6 inch gong at 20 yards.

So far I've only shot The Judge with Federal 000 buckshot. NO complaints! The recoil is very manageable compared to a 12 gauge. I've been able to hit a target at a distance of 50 feet consistently. Face it The Judge is for closer action. Don't expect to hunt with this one. I'll have it on my hip though. I love this gun! It is definitely an awesome home/self defense weapon. Now I need to get some 45's! Oh yeah, I should mention that The Judge is well balanced, the grip is a great shock absorber, and its fit and finish is really good. As always Bud's is a pleasure to deal with. Buy Bud's and be happy. 'Nuff said.

I purchased this as a snake gun. Was carrying a Ruger SR22 with rat shot but it would not cycle. After a friend just north of me ran into several rattle snakes I decided to get some protection. I test fired it yesterday using 45 colt, 3" Buckshot, 2 1/2" Buckshot, and #4 bird shot. Patterned fairly good, not too much recoil, I expected a lot more, and a decent double action trigger ( I shoot a Walther Q5, so I am spoiled). Overall I am quite impressed with the fit and finish of this pistol.

I love this firearm, and the service from buds. This is my sidearm of choice, when I go hunting or just want to have some fun shooting around with friends.

I've had this pistol several weeks and have fired it both with .410 shells and .45 Colt cartridges. I was a little surprised by the recoil with .410 loads, it was at least equal to my .44 Magnum. Definitely would not want to shoot it one-handed. There's nothing really remarkable about using it to fire .45 Colt cartridges. Accuracy is not as good as some of my other pistols, but this was not surprising since I'd done extensive research before purchasing it. If I concentrate, I can put all rounds in a paper plate from 7 yards. For my use, that's good enough. I had a minor problem extracting the fired .410 shells at first, but after extensively lubricating the chambers the shells can now be extracted without any trouble. I like the grips, they are comfortable and I expect they do a good job of absorbing recoil from .410 shells. I like this pistol and would buy it again. It's a lot of fun to shoot.
