This is a very nice handgun. The only thing that could be improved is that the bottom rear of the pistol should have been made longer to mate up with the bullet clip. Maybe they can make the back of the hand grip as an extension. The way it is now the clip has a sharp edge that is uncomfortable to the hand during a tight grip.

Bought this gun for my wife and she absolutely loves it. I shot two clips through it and was very impressed with the gun. I have not had any issues with it yet. Will update in a few weeks after a few hundred more rounds. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great service as always from Buds ! Tried layaway for the first time - easy, nice way to take advantage of the cash price and take a few weeks to pay ! I have had no problems with the safety issue I have seen here and other reviews - knock on wood. Slide does have a very small finish issue next to the rear site - but very small. My only issue is I just can't dial it in - shooting consistently at 7 o'clock in tight groupings. I'll keep trying, and if all else fails, will put some new sites on it. Debating on whether to get a steel recoil spring rod - I hate that many have cheapened up their pistols and use plastic - I'm sure they are probably fine, but I feel better with steel. All in all, a very nice compact 9 with hi capacity and comfortable to carry in my Kholster.

First thing I noticed when I recieved the PX4 SubCompact from Bud's was the right side serrations had some chips, not bad but threy were there. Took it to the range and the front sight flew off after 60rds. Had to pay the gunsmith to reinstall and secure the sight. After 200 rds noticed the chips on the serations were getting larger. I ran my thumbnail lightly along the serations and the finish just came right off. I contacted Beretta via email. First it took about a week for a response. Second, it was a typical canned corporate response: Due to the nature of your problems please send you gun to our MD facility. At my expense!!!!. Totally unacceptable. Beretta customer service is horrible, only to be out done by the piss poor quality of their products. Please don't buy this or any Beretta products until they get their quality control back in order and they start respecting their customers. The PX4 SubCompact also suffers from decocker/safety issues and the magazines falling out while firing. If you don't believe me go to berettaforum.com and do some research before you buy any of Berettas poor quality products and subject yourself to terrible customer service. =Dave D

Update on previous post, I contacted buds and they got the problem resolved. Thank you Buds, Beretta paid for shipping handling both ways and replaced the sights. Beretta said the superluminova site ways dirty it had to be their quality control at the factory that overlooked the dirty site because the pistol stayed in the safe and in the original case and only been shot maybe 300 rounds and I never disassembled it. They never suggested cleaning the site and I never thought of cleaning the site. This showed me how hard it can be to get Beretta to resolve a simple problem. The site did not look dirty to me, but we humans sometimes overlook the simplest things which makes us feel totally stupid. Thank you Beretta and Buds for taking care of my problem. Beretta repaired and returned within two weeks.
