I have had no problems with my safety/decocker. I have had the px4 storm sub compact in 9mm for over a year now. Its a great gun. Very accurate for a short barrell. Very little muzzle flip. I have fired over 700 rounds of cheap winch white box and federal ammo without a single problem. I think its a high quality gun at a great price. Great for concealed carry. If i had to complain about something, its a little thick.

UPDATE from prior posting: Beretta did provide return shipping label after a couple of attempts to talk w/ the right person. The pistol was sent back, repaired, and returned promptly. They replaced the firing assembly which corrected the decocker problem (no charge to me). Nothing was said regarding "known issues" or apologies for a faulty product. I expect better from Beretta.

No problems with my PX4 subcompact. Safety/decocker worked as it was supposed to. Excellent pistol. Recoil insignificant. Less that my model 86 Cheeta .380. Shoots great. Would recommend this gun to anyone considering it. Like the PX4 so much, bought it in the .40 S&W within a week after receiving the subcompact. Really like that one, too. Also, great price and service from Bud's.

No msafety/decock issue here. My 2-month old 9mm PX4sc has been working 100% OK. Good groups at 7 and 15 yds. Smooth handling. Easy to strip and clean. Good for cc, although I wish it were a tad narrower. All in all, an excellent pistol.

All, if you are experiencing the safety/decock issue, could you plese register at berettaforum.net and post your issue there please. Thread will be under beretta-smithing & maintenance, look for PX4SC decocker problem. Based on partial seriel numbers gathered so far, I believe beretta put out a bad bach of sub compacts. Thanks.

Same problem with decocker and major safey concern. The hammer occasionally stays in the cocked position after working the slide with the safety on. It is a clearance problem with the slide/decocker, not a gummed up hammer. The gun is brand new and has less than 50 rounds thru it and has been cleaned. I will update the post again after I hear what Beretta has to say.
