The Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded is excellent or should I say outstanding. The fit and finish is excellent, the features for the price are beyond expectations. Sights were spot on, and I love the tritium sights, grips, and ambi safety. It is easy to shoot, excellent weight and balance. My wife shot her first 45 and it handled beautifully. She noted it was not much more recoil than our Sig P320 9mm. The Springfield 1911 is a fine pistol and has become a favorite in my family. Bud's pricing and service is 2nd to none along with my FFL did an excellent job getting it to me in 2 days. I highly recommend this 1911 and Bud's Gun Shop. If I could give this 1911 more than 5 stars I would. Thanks Bud's!

Springfield Armory has exceeded my expectations with their version of the 1911. Not only does it look good but it is a great shooter. As I disassembled it for cleaning and inspection before firing for the first time, one can tell the level of quality and precision that went into manufacturing this pistol. All the internals are in pristine condition and of matched grade quality, which can really be seen as you hold it and off course fire it. It is such a well-balanced pistol that one can easily forget that you are shooting a 45 caliber. I fired three hundred rounds to break it in and it performed flawlessly and is very accurate. Simply put, the POA (Point of Aim) is spot on with the POI (point of Impact). I even fired three clips of cheap steel case ammo (as I was cleaning out my old ammo) and it still performed as you would expect. I am glad I spent the time and did a lot of research prior to taking the leap as I always wanted a 1911 for my collection but wanted to be sure I received the most value for the money. Of course, Buds (as always) was great to deal with and thanks for the 90 day and 180 day layaways as it makes it easier to purchase those high end quality firearms while still staying within budget of my firearm collection fund. Please keep the good deals on your Website coming!

I couldn't be more happy with this pistol! The slide to receiver fit is nice and tight and the trigger is crisp, this gun has all the features you could ask for in a 1911 with a price that can't be beat! Thank you Buds for another great purchase and smooth transaction!

Gang, I couldn't be happier with this piece. Nice, tight fit across the board. None of that old-school 1911 wiggle-and-clack. These Trijicon sights are great regardless of light conditions. Very positive mag seating, the trigger is light and clean (I have felt no need to adjust mine one bit), and the grip safety does not require much pressure to disengage (a good thing). The backstrap has a nice, aggressive pattern. I swapped an S&A well/housing in and the pattern is about the same, so it looks like Springfield is including the kind of features people change to from factory specs on other guns. Incidentally, I did not know that these things are now made with the little hole so you can lock the mainspring in place. This is one of the best ideas anybody has ever had, period, and I would like to buy a beer for the inventor. Made the magwell addition unbelievably easy. The Loaded is accurate, intuitive, reliable, and comfortable. Also, it's black. This is the correct color. The cocobolo scales are pretty, although I did replace them with some VZs. The gun is very inexpensive for the quality so, obviously, I had to blow my cash on other stuff. Bud's got this thing to me right on time and in great shape. I used North American Firearms in Lombard, IL because it's is a preferred FFL for Bud's. Sure enough, it's a great little shop with friendly staff and they did not gouge me on the fee. I am incapable of finding anything to complain about. If this had cost a grand, I do not think I would be able to find anything to complain about.
