I was a little worried about this pistol with all the bad written about it. All that I have to say is wow!! Wish I had bought two!! 300 rounds and not a hiccup at all! Recoil isn\'t bad at all! I was a little nervous at first with all the talk of recoil!! It is nothing to shoot this kahr. This is my fourth kahr, and all of them have exceeded my expectations!! Just wish all of them had the trigger of my k40 elite 03. That trigger blows away all my other kahr said!

I own several Kahr pistols and they are very easy to conceal. At the range they are very accurate and controlable. I just throw it in my pocket and never have to worrie about printing or sagging. AAA+++

Wow. Just wow! What a great CC pistol. Received at my FFL 4 days after purchase (thanks Buds!). 200 rounds of Federal 40 S&W 180-grain FMJ for the break-in, and I'm stunned! 1.5 to 2" groups at 15 yards, and consistently hit a 6" steel target 4 of 6 times at 30 yards (more shooter error than weapon accuracy in my opinion, as the missed shots were VERY close to target). I've never shot a 3" barrel with better results; this pistol is accurate! I experienced 4 or 5 fail-to-feeds with the 6-rd extended magazine, likely due to the pressure on the mag from my pinky finger. No problems with the 5-rd magazine though. Also, while back home and disassembling for cleaning I noticed a piece of the recoil spring assembly missing (apparently unscrewed itself at the gun range and came off). Issue was quickly resolved with a call to Kahr's repair division; they immediately shipped a new assembly free-of-charge. On a side note, this pistol kicks pretty hard. Not surprising for a gun of it's size, just be aware that it packs a punch on recoil. The slide requires a good bit of effort to rack, it's pretty tight (the gun is for my wife and she struggles with it, and not easily done by myself either). Also, the trigger pull is fairly long and cumbersome, in my opinion. It took several magazines before I got a good feel for it, but did encounter some frustration while finding the sweet spot. That's my only complaint, I think Kahr could've done better on the trigger. In summary, I'm completely satisfied with this pistol and would highly recommend. Hat's off to Buds for another great transaction on another great gun!!!

I really like this gun because: 1- It is very small. Easy to conceal. (main reason I bought it) It is barely larger than a ruger lcp .380. Sold my Glock 23 (it is a good gun, just can't pack every day due to its larger size). 2- It is very accurate. I shot 100 rounds with a couple failure to feeds at first. By the time i shot 100, it was not having issues. I shot at about 10 yards at first. It hits right where I aim. I shot alot from about 22 yards. Different kinds of ammo. I was hitting a 6" target with ease, with mostly about a 4" group. It does kick pretty good with the small grip, but I got on target accurately, pretty quick........shooting 6 shots in about 10 seconds...........I decided that I will shoot Federal HydraShoks 155gn. HP. in this Kahr PM4044. Lots of good reviews and its what officers use. 3- I like the trigger pull. Easy to squeeze off without issue. I don't like the high price of these. Buds has a good price, then i paid transfer fee and WA state tax on it also. I am into it about $735 total, but I am okay with that. I can't wait to go shoot again. My hand felt the 100 rounds I shot, but it wasn't too bad. I have small to average size hands. If you have big hands, you wouldn't like this gun. Buds was great to deal with, even though my order was delayed a couple days because a holiday on Monday slowed it down....not Buds fault.
