No regrets what so ever. Shipped in immaculate condition, exactly what I ordered. Delivered within the timeframe provided by Buds. As for the shottie...what can I say. My shoulder has been mad at me ever since shooting slugs. Deadly accurate, eats anything you feed it. Job well done Mossberg!

My shotgun arrived unharmed and unmarked, though at first I was worried due to the shape the box was in at my FFL. However, inside the thrashed box was another box in perfect condition. The shotgun works flawlessly and is nice and rugged. The 590sp has a polymer trigger guard and safety in comparison to the 590a1. Glocks are made from polymer and they can take a beating, I don't see why these parts should be any different. It saves a few bucks and cuts down on the weight (even though slightly, ounces are ounces). The barrel is also thinner than a 590a1 but it looks to be the same as a Rem 870 and those will last far longer than what I will probably use this shotgun for. The heat shield gives it a nice mean look and is secure, the edges aren't sharp on mine but if I was truly in a stressful situation and pumping this firearm I could see myself cutting my hand in the groove. Although in that situation I think I could stomach a little cut in favor for getting my shotgun to work. If you don't like it, take it off. The length of pull on this shotgun is significantly long. I have fairly long arms and I can already tell if I install a sling mount between the stock and receiver I will have to trip down the stock or replace it with a youth (don't like the idea of trial and error with stock pads to find the right length). There is already a sling mount at the base of the stock if you don't mind it in that location. The top of the receiver is already tapped for mounting an optic if that's your thing. I can pick up the bead sight just fine but as I get older and my eyesight starts going it's nice to have options. Probably my favorite feature of this shotgun is the loading ramp, or rather the lack there of. I pinch the crap out of myself on 870's, in this 590sp It's smooth loading with no hangups.

nice shotgun, quality construction, cycles very smoothly and loudly. unfortunately they decided to dent mine right on the middle front of the heat shield, thanks bud's!! unless someone can correct me and it's supposed to be dented...can't imagine why, oh well not worth returning it or anything.

This is my 5th purchase from Buds online and I have not had one bad thing to say about this organization. My last two purchases has been through their online system without any hiccups; product arrived in condition as expected and on timely basis. Ok, now moving on to the product review of Mossberg 590A SP. This is my first shotgun purchase and definitely made the right choice not going with the Remington 870 18". It was a toss up and I believe Remington was $50 less than 590 but you get a lot more shot gun for the money. It holds 9 rounds 2 3/4" shells and the finish is matte black... plus comes with heat shield which is very cool on this firearm. On other shotguns, you have to buy this as added accessory if you want it. Personally, I didn't feel the need to upgrade to 590A1 which is the mil spec version with additional thickness in barrel. Whether SP or A1, both come with adapter ring to mount blade; you could kind of make out from the picture shown. Again, overall continue to have wonderful relationship with Buds. All my purchases have been surperb with no complaints. A++ for communication follow up after each purchase transaction online. If you're new to online firearm purchase, you can't go wrong with this outfit. I would trust them over any other online competitors both price and professionalism. Enough said... go buy yourself a MOSSBERG.

Great Gun, zero complaints, great price. My only complaint DO NOT USE BUDS ORDER STATUS SYSTEM!! It's non functional my gun was sitting at my FFL for 5-7days buds has no option for speaking to a live person or even emailing. They make you wait 10 days before you can dispute the status of your gun or even send them a messege. Grant it I could have simply called my FFL and checked but I was depending on an accurate shipping status from buds they gave me no tracking and no communication for 10 days then I find out its at my FFL had to wait another 5 days to take home. It's been nearly 18 days and I'm still waiting for it. Disaster next time I'll spend an additional 20.00 and go grab it off a shelf. First and last purchase from buds very disatisfied customer service is priority 1 with every company except buds they can't hire someone to respond to emails much less anwser a phone call.
