This is my second C-9, first one was stolen out of my bedroom from a locked dresser. I've shot many rounds with this gun and never has it failed to shoot or eject. Sure it's heavy, but I like that, my first shot I set a soda can on a rock and backed up about 30' and hit it dead center, & that was my first time shooting a pistol. It's compact but fits my large hand nicely. I put on a slip on rubber grip.
It's ugly? maybe so, I think it looks fine. I had a 10 round mag screw up, so I stick with the 8 round clips.
First C-9 I got from a local dealer, I had many questions, why is it so cheap? Is it reliable, does it jam? He assured me it was a good gun and told me if your just using it for home defense this is a fine weapon. He did tell me at some point I might want to upgrade if I was going to be shooting a lot.
We'll, he was right, I'm happy with this weapon and the way it performs, but, I did order a Glock 17 to see what all the hubbub is about.
If you only have $200 to spend, buy this pistol, if you have $600, get a Glock.
