Great service as always at Buds, shot this new out of the box, without doing anything but loading the mag with 8 rounds and shot about 100 rounds of reloads with NO PROBLEMS at all ! this is a great shooting gun for the price I paid I wish i had bought 2. now you see why they are out of stock all the time. If you haven't shot a Hi-Point 9mm I would suggest you try it out. Love it !

This was my first purchase from Bud's, but it will not be my last. Considering the current environment, I would have expected to wait upwards of two weeks to receive my order, instead it took only THREE DAYS! Now, for the gun itself: I was a bit skeptical about the quality of this gun, considering the low price. I read all the reviews, watched all the YouTube reviews, and decided to order. I was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! I intended to polish the feed ramp, but thought I'd fire a few rounds right out of the box first, for a before and after comparison. Next thing I knew, I had fired 50 rounds of Geco FMJ's without a single issue! WITHOUT polishing the feed ramp! I will be adjusting the sites, as it was shooting slightly low and to the right, but groups were pretty tight. Heavy? Yes. Ugly? Maybe, but who cares about that? I wish it had a higher magazine capacity, but of course I knew how many rounds it held when I ordered it. In addition to being heavy overall, the gun is also top-heavy because of the huge slide, but I count that as a positive, because it counteracts the recoil. No muzzle-flip at all! Bottom line, with this gun, you don't get what you pay for... you get WAY MORE! I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Oh yeah... and it's 100% American made! With a lifetime warrantee! Thanks, Bud's! And thanks, Hi Point!

SO i decided to buy the hi point c9 a few months back from buds. first gun i've bought from them. shipping was quick and on time. but when i got the gun i noticed it had horrible flashing on the plastic. like there were chunks of plastic hanging off of it. so i had to take a razor blade and shave it off like the people running the machines should in the first place. and IF they slowed their molds down by just a few seconds this gun wouldnt have waves and dips in the plastic. no big tho for me. my only real complaint is that it has sharp edges on the rear of the slide and if your not careful it will cut you. . or you can just round off those edges a bit . be sure to sand the feed ramp . i did from 800 to 1500 grit sand paper then used steel wool to polish it back up. cleaned up the edges of the mag so it stoped chewing up the brass . and now it works just fine. round come out of it fairly well. has some kinks i still need to work out. but the most i usually have to do is smack the back of the gun a little and itll feed the round. but its rare so. all n all good first gun or project or something to abuse. i only use this for back up in my car. just in case my main carry fails for some reason.
