I purchased the hi point cf380 for my wife, wish I had bought one for myself. Great gun and great service from Bud's.... Only complaint is that the 10rd clip had issues with loading. I am sure I can fix it with minor adjustments. That being said, I am very happy with this pistol

It is often when there is a hiccup in ordering something online that you find out about a company's commitment to customer service. Derek called me in answer to my inquiry about missing components and it was very clear from the get go that his only concern was making sure I was satisfied. I am MORE likely to purchase from Bud's now after the mishap than before because of the commitment to me as a customer that was evidenced by Derek. Great gun, great service, nuff said.

This is a 5-star gun except that it was shipped without the compensator or extra magazine. It seems pretty evident that the wrong version of the 380 was sent. waiting on Bud's to respond to inquiry. But the gun is great. My daughter can load and fire with no problems including racking the slide which was difficult for her with .40 Hi-Point. All in all a great gun.

I have had mine 5 months now and I still marvel at how such a fine gun can be had for comparatively little money. It is frighteningly accurate, grouping at 1-1/2" to 2" at 7 to 10 yards, the only distance I am concerned with as this is my carry piece. I did not buy this gun to shoot at 25 yard targets...I have many other pistols and rifles for those purposes. And I shoot competitively twice a month in SASS competition, so competing with this or my JCP 40 S&W is not part of my routine. However, the gun is extremely well made (I do some amateur gunsmithing on my others), accurate and reliable. Not one misfire or jam with a variety of ammo, both good and blazer. I have put liquid spray rubber on the grips to enhance my hold and and two strips of skid rubber on the slide to aid in cocking. Other than buying a 10 round mag, I have had to do nothing. The HP lifetime warranty cannot be exceeded or even matched by any other manufacturer I can find, so no worries for my lifetime at least. With what I saved over the price of one big name hand gun, I was able to buy a JCP 40 and a 995 carbine. Best bang for the buck anywhere! Thanks Hi-Point for making an all-American gun, with all-American parts by American workers in Ohio and backing your work/design with a no BS Warranty on the gun, not the owner.
