These hi point get bads reputations because they are cheap pistols but let me tell you this pistol is great! it is a bit heavy due to the blowback design but i feel that help with recoil and makes a smooth shooter and with a lifetime warranty on these how can you go wrong? and this was my first purchase from buds gotta say i am loving them they are quick and easy just purchased a rifle from them today as well thanks buds :).

Well, my friends wont look at me the same and this thing is one heavy beast of a gun but boy it will shoot with you put into it. I havent had a single issue with it at all. Also seems to be plenty accurate at 25 yards. Its not my favorite gun but if you want a cheap .45 that will do the job then i would say that this thing will do the trick!

Man it is ugly. Clunky looking shiny plastic. The trigger on mine is sharp & uncomfortable and the mags don\'t pop out far. It ain\'t pretty - but if you need a dirt cheap 45 that shoots - I would buy it again. I can hit what I aim at with it but it really isn\'t a comfortable weapon. Bottom Line - It shoots pretty well. It hasn\'t missed a bang yet.

All I can say is wow. What a great firearm. I feel I got a really great bargain. Picked the gun up from my FFL dealer, and took it straight to the gun range. Put 150 rounds down range right out of the box with zero malfunctions whatsoever. 3 different kinds of cheap ammo to boot. Blew out the bulls eye quick which really surprised me. Didn\'t have to mess with the rear sight, just point and shoot. Hi point has really stepped it up in a major way. They\'ve been known to be unreliable in the past but that has certainly changed. It\'s a little heavy but I feel its manageable and solid. For under $200 I got a reliable .45 with a lifetime warranty that was made on US soil. You just can\'t go wrong. I\'m sure all the gun snobs are bummed out by reading this, and to them I say don\'t knock it until you try it. Hi point is a great firearm for new shooters or for folks on a budget. Getting the 9mm next! And as always Buds was perfect in every aspect. Never had a problem with Buds and will continue to buy from them. Thanks again!

Just got back from the range with my new Hi-Point 45 and overall I was pleased. Fired 400 rounds of perfecta 45 autos through it without a single jam. The factory sights shoot high left though. The grips I find a little slippery especially if you have sweaty hands. I plan on putting different sights and grips on it anyways so no big concern for me. One more issue is when you are cleaning the pistol you have to be careful when removing the slide. The slide retaining pin is under some serious tension and will come flying out at you when the slide is lifted. Overall for the price I find it to be a great handgun.

Very-Pleased with this purchase! This Hi-Point .45 acp, has some heft to it, which helps reduce recoil! Not a stunning gun, compared to the typical name-brand 1911's, but I don't need it to be. I only require it goes BANG & it does! You can't beat it for the price. Arrived on time as promised! Buds, as always was a privilege to work with.
