For the price, this is a decent pistol. Fired a couple hundred rounds with no issues. It is a bulky and heavy pistol, too large to carry. I knew that when I purchased it and am not disappointed. Keep this for home defense.

Gun seems heavier than a polymer framed 40 cal with 15 rounds of 200 grain ammo when the high point is empty, but apart from that it shoots reasonably well and is what it is expected to be. But seriously, its heavy...

Life time Transferable warranty ,350 rounds through it so far with out a single failure to feed, missfire, or jam. Runs flawless. And my god it is accurate as tits right out of the box. What more could you want? And for the price. Man oh man. I should have written this sooner but I needed to put at least 300 rounds through her first %uD83D%uDE02 Love it. You guys down at Buds Rock!

Typical great service from Buds. What a large and heavy weapon. But reliable and feels like you're wielding a cannon. Love that

Dealing with Buds was as easy as it can be. As for the Hi-point pistols I have, the house burned down around them, after a cleaning, still shoot as good as I can shoot a pistol. So much for that silly Illinois law, maybe fires are just hotter up state.

So far, the JHP 45 has run like a champ with 150 rnds brass ammo. Will see if it eats the cheap Tula in a couple of days. The major downside of the gun is that the single stack mag only holds 9 ( 1 in the chamber); given its sheer size, this seems like a wasted opportunity for a double stack. There would be plenty of room, anyway. Probably not a good carry gun due to size and weight, but the weight also softens felt recoil down to the same level as my full-sized 9mm. Buying from Buds was, as always, a pleasant experience.
