Well worth the money. Feels and looks good. Wish I had the 9mm version also, but already have a S&W 9. Ran about 250 rounds through it, good groupings at 20 to 25 feet. Hit the bullseye a number of times. Only problem I found was last round hold open usually doesnt work. Both magazines would usually allow the slide to close and recock. Not a single ftf or fte using tulammo, federal, and hornady xtp hollow points. Mirror polished feed ramp from the factory also. Include hard case, 2 mag, bore brush, and speed loader- which is very handy. I think buds may be getting overwhelmed with demand lately though. So expect slow service and dont expect to get through on the phone. They shorted me items on my last ammunition and accessory order, and I havent been able to get a response from them.

This was a very good purchase....I love how the 24/7 fits in my hand! Feels as good as my ole IMI Baby Eagle 40. I was about to go 1911 with the rest of the world....then I found the OSS DS.....I am in love! Excellent price and service, as always, from Bud's. PROS: I have ran over 1K+ rnds thru with no issues. It handles smooth and will hold an excellent grouping out to the 25M mark. It will fit into Springfield XDM holsters as well. The long trigger pull is stiff/smooth and makes it a treat to shoot. It has minimal climb with rapid shots, and recovers quickly. The de-cock is a very very nice feature. CONS: My 45 OSS needed to be adjusted because it hit extremely left upon delivery. The Brazilians must have lock-tight in bulk....because they use an @SS load on the set screws! It takes a lot of heat to break them free. Used my cigar lighter to heat it up. I had to melt/bubble the white in the Novak sights to move them! I ended up stripping the front set screw on my 45 OSS, and was successful on the 9mm OSS. (YES...I like these so much I bought two!) Once these were adjusted...they both hit beautifully! Biggest CON....they do not make this model anymore....get them while you can!! Taurus makes damn good side arms! I may buy another someday, if I can. I have three now. I will purchase a 44 mag revolver for the wife next....she has her heart set on a Raging Bull.....gotta love her!

I received my new 45 OSS in four business days after ordering. Buds made this purchase really easy and I couldn't complain about the free shipping. My dealer likes it so much, he is going to purchase one himself. Form, fit and function of this pistol is summed up in one word....Perfection. Loved the double action/single action trigger and the grip really fits my hand. 12 +1 of .45 ACP out of the 5.25 in barrel equaled a shot group of about on inch at 15 yards. Flawless even when shooting TulAmmo which I have found to be unkind to all the other Taurus semi auto pistols I own, pt111, tcp738 to be exact.

This is my first Taurus and my first purchase from buds, buds was outstanding it it shipped on Monday and was at my FFL dealer 11am the next day awesome. Now the pistol I find it very difficult to take apart for cleaning and the action release is very tough to operate I have to put a ton of pressure on it to get it to release. But it shoots very well i have not had any issues with shooting. I paid $327 for it from buds and check it out at near by gun shops and to my surprise they wanted $200 more. If your a big guy like me 6'3 and 290lbs it's a great fitting except the flaws I mentioned in the beginning. BUDS has a customer for life.

Having only ever shot and owned Glock pistols, buying the OSS was my first adventure outside of my pistol "comfort zone". I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pistol. It did require a thorough cleaning as it had some very thick grease on the inside and outside. After cleaning it and a few drops of oil, I put 50 rounds through it without any failures. There was one incident where the slide did not lock back after the magazine went empty, but I am confident that my thumb prevented the slide lock from completely engaging as it should. The magazines are stiff, of course because they are new, but I could only comfortably get 10 rounds in without using the included speed loader. Overall, I feel this is a great pistol even at twice the price. The feed ramp on the barrel has been polished to a mirror finish from the factory, which I found to be a nice attention to detail. The recoil on this also seems to be felt much less than the Glock 21 & 34 I have shot previously. I will update my review after I put more rounds through it, but as of now I'm very satisfied to say the least!

This is my first Taurus and I couldn't be more pleased. This gun performed flawlessly right out of the box. Bud's had it delivered in three days!
