Almost everything about this handgun is excellent. Excellent sights and it even comes with a spare set. Great accuracy, but lacks in precision (but that's what you get with a .22LR handgun). It's a full-sized handgun and the grip feels great in your hands. And the most important positive thing about this gun is that it is really cheap to shoot. I find myself shooting this gun more because of how cheap it is. The only negative thoughts on this gun are that it only comes with one magazine and these magazines are not cheap (at least $40 each for a 10rd.). And lastly the use of lead nosed ammunition will cause a lot of failure to feed problems. When I run copper nosed ammunition through the handgun it shoots flawlessly, and it doesn't matter what kind you run. I ran cheap lead nosed ammunition to the expensive CCI and Federal lead nosed ammunition and I was getting failure to feed every other shot. However, when I ran cheap (and very dirty) Remington bulk HP copper nosed ammunition to even the expensive CCI Mini-Mag round copper nosed ammunition it still shot flawlessly. The reason for this is because of the steep ramp that the bullet has to ride up. Lead nosed ammunition is not as smooth as copper nosed ammunition so the lead nosed always get caught on the ramp. One way I've heard to counter this problem is to polish down the ramp or otherwise let nature take its course and shoot a lot to break in the gun. I've heard that some owners shot almost 10,000 rounds to fix the failure to feed problem. I'm taking latter step because its more fun.

Great gun, but play with ammunition to see what yours likes. All the reviews that say they are finicky with ammunition are correct. Mine loves CCI 40g minimags. I have another friend that insist Remington Thunderbolt is the best. I think the key is keeping this gun clean and make sure you have the slightly more powerful .22lr rounds for it. It most definitely will function better. All in all, not my favorite Sig product, but still great value for the price.

This was my first gun purchase from Buds and it went great. I had read some pretty bad reviews of the Mosquito, but I wanted one so I bought it anyway. Im glad I did. This gun is fun! I put 525 rounds of CCI Blazer through it with 3 or 4 FTF/FTE. I can live with that. Only problem, when I got to around 250 rounds the gun just shut down, would not do anything. Took it apart, cleaned it and it worked perfect again. Went shooting yesterday with some Remington ammo and no FTF/FTE. Sig Sauer Moquito and Buds Gun Shop, both great.

An excellent gun. Never had a jam of any kind. It is a reliable and well built gun.

I like this gun. Cleaned it and took it to the range. Feels good in hand, no real kick and accurate. Put 100 rounds of CCI and the first 50 went smooth no problems, but the next 50 started to get feed issues with each mag loaded. Probably because it strted to get dirty at the feed ramp. Im going to try and smooth the rampvwith a nylon scouring pad. Buds was good but it took 10 days to get to my FFL...Seems like an E check would go faster than it does

My First Sig.. As CONCERN FOR American MADE, but I ALWAYS TRUST THE German and Swiss Engineering. I am a 1911 Springfield and Colt S%W and Kimber Man and extra switches and levers bothered me until, I tried a Berretta 9 mm and then a Sig 226 in 9m and 40S&W and then I waited and saw this Sig M22B as we know Pistol Ammo is well to exp as now 22 LR . I am in love with Sig Sauer ! I wanted to buy the Sig Sauer 1911 in .22 LR but I love this light weigh gun and the handling is smooth with practice and Muscle memory techniques this SA, DA Pistol works for me. I use and only Shoot Fed Ammo and CCI mini mag 38g to 40 g and keep it lightly oiled and clean easy to break down for inspection! I am hooked ,as I bought another Sig in .40 S&W Thanks Buds ! for all my Fire Arm discount buying needs .***** Stars from me !
