The shipping on took 3 days which was outstanding! It was a very easy process. The gun had two scuff marks but was not bad at all. I see no other problems with the gun.....such as the front sight post or ghost ring. The action is smooth with both 3in and 2 3/4 in shells. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and can't wait to put rounds through it ! I would most certainly recomend buying from Buds and look forward to my next purchase!

Okay just wanted to throw my 2 cents in the mix....I have not ordered one but i have ordered 2 mossberg 930spx's, not because there was something wrong with the first one...but i just wanted 2 930spx's...lol, and Derek is the man...and question i had he quickly replied...and also NOOOOOO body can beat BudsGunShop.com deals...believe me i looked around, and buds has it for the best price and includes free shipping.... And if you guys are on the fence on buying this 930, and see the reviews below on people getting messed up 930spx's, just don't take ownership of the gun....and buds will replace it or refund you the money. and the shotguns buds are selling are the 3rd gen ones...with thicker barrel, sling mounts, and higher front sight....and ect. I picked up my second one yesterday and all i can say is this one ROCKS!!! Manufacture date was 6/13/2011....pretty sweet... Thanks budsgunshop....

As usual Bud's met my expectations. Only thing is when I received my SPX930 it had some rust on it and the rear site lug was striped out.

Well I must have been one of the lucky people who received a flawless 930 SPX..Before signing my transfer paperwork at my FFL's I examined the shotgun closely for any of the problems many buyers have encountered including canted (either left or right) front sight tower, loose trigger assembly, forearm retainer, mag tube & capacity. Everything seemed in order & the gun looked great so I signed for it. I got it home & low & behold it would only hold 6 rounds of 2 3/4" Birdshot shells--I tried Remington, Winchester & Federal shells but to no avail it would not hold 7!!..I broke the gun down cleaned it thouroughly including fieldstripping it & removing the trigger assembly to clean it, Which any gun owner should do BEFORE firing a new shotgun or any firearm for that matter. To my astonishment there were 2 identical followers in the mag tube which was preventing it from holding the advertised 7 rounds. I do not know if this was an oversight on Mossberg or if (which is what I think) the shotguns are shipped w/ 2 followers to comply w/ several states (I think Massachusetts & Connecticut) that prevent AUTOLOADING shotguns from having a capacity of more than 6, but this is just speculation on my part. Upon removing the 2nd follower it holds 7 easily including buckshot & slugs!...So w/ a little work this shotty is now my bedside home defense weapon of choice & I just got done putting 200 rounds thorugh her & she ate every single round right up w/ out a malfunction or jam of any kind! Beautiful weapon & also reminds me of why I field strip & clean every new weapon I purchase BEFORE firing which every responsible gun owner should do along w/ reading the owners manual as well as familarizng themselves w/ the function of their new weapon..Of course Buds service was flawless, shipped immediately upon my echeck clearing..Buds prices just can't be beat period!! Thanks again Buds!

I was impressed with the product information provided by Mossberg about their tactical 12 gauge, model 930sx. After about a seven month wait, Bud's sent me an email notifying me a new 930 was available. I ordered the second one of the forty Bud's had in stock. When it was at my FFL I looked at it and immediately noticed the front sight was missing. The gun also looked kind of scuffed, like it had been bounced around for a while in its box. My dealer and I went through the box and packing materials thinking the sight was either not installed or had come off and was loose in the box. The sight was not located. Then I looked through the rear sight and noticed the front sight wings were not in alignment on the barrel. The rear portion of the front sight assembly was canted or twisted to the right by about an eighth of an inch. I left the gun at the dealer and contacted Mossberg. They were very courteous and suggested I could either return the entire gun or just the barrel for an expedited repair or replacement. Bud's was also very accommodating and told me they would do whatever I wanted; return for repair or replacement. After a day of deliberation I decided to pay the extra dealer handling fee and directed my FFL to return the unit to Bud's. Because I had waited so long to get this gun and after delivery finding the two major defects in it, I was very disappointed. While made in America, I wonder if Mossberg has non-American, foreigners on its assembly line. It looks to me like you get what you pay for. The Mossberg is less expensive than other brands, and I own a Mossberg pump, but I have learned that if I want a well made firearm, one that I can expect to use a lot (and not just park under the bed), I will need to pay more for the quality I want. Because of the poor craftsmanship of the Mossberg, I looked at a Benelli. What a difference. I will likely pay the difference and get a well made firearm I can take pride in.
