Cleaned off shipping grease, Oiled for firing, shot 50 rounds through it, no problems. Great gun. I do miss the hammer like on the P95. Still I carry this gun for CCW.

First off I want to say this is my first time ordering from Bud's and it will not be my last. Shipping took a lil bit longer than I liked but I know they are very busy so I just dealt with it. I will say that the preferred FFL dealers they offer when you buy a gun from them is great. That makes ordering a gun a whole lot easier. I just got my SR9 yesterday and have not had a chance to shoot it yet so there will be another update after that. After looking over the gun and going through all the safety checks and inspecting it, I must say the SR9 is a great 9mm. It feels great in my hand and I like it better than my father's gen 4 Glock 17. I took it apart already and inspected it and it looks to be in great shape and working properly. I was in the military for 11 years so I always had a 9mm on me and that was a beretta which I am still a huge fan of but I must say I enjoy the way the SR9 feels even better. Having two 17 round clips is great and if you order new like I did, the manufactor does a test on it already and sends you the empty case. Once again I have not shot this gun yet but that will be this weekend and I will do a update once i have. Besides that this 9mm from Ruger seems to be outstanding and I truly believe I'm going to enjoy it more than the beretta and glock. To be continued after the range......

I received this gun on schedule, even with the current increase in orders due to pending government banning bills. The firearm arrived in perfect condition and seems to work flawlessly. Out of 60 rounds of 115 gr. Independence FMJ, I had one stovepipe—I assume due to lack of precision in the loads. It is easy to disassemble and clean; the grip is very comfortable, even for my small hands (large man with small hands). I previously owned a 9mm Ruger that I sold due to the large uncomfortable grip. This SR9 is extremely comfortable. I am very happy doing business with Bud’s and I am very happy with this purchase.

Solid feeling, great looking gun. The grip fits/feels awesome. Put about 300 rounds of Winchester white box through it so far, not a single failure. It's been performing great, and am very pleased with my purchase. Buds rocked this at $100 off where I could get it by me, and got it here in three days. Winning experience all around!

I've heard that this gun has a good trigger, but I wasn't prepared for just how good it was. No cosmetic issues, I had 1 stove pipe in the first 200 rounds, but it's been flawless after the break in. Buying this has put the SR9C on my list of "buy soon" guns. I did remove the magazine disconnect, but made no other changes to the gun. Love it!

This was my first ever pistol purchase after watching/reading massive amounts of reviews and I'm glad I chose the SR9. I've gone through about 850 rounds of mostly American Eagle, some Speer Lawman tmj's and gold dots without a single failure. Excellent gun for a very good price. I've rented the xd, and m&p and shot them right along with my sr9 and I'm not changing my mind.
