Actually bought this for a friend. He bought one used and a mutual friend liked it so much he sold it to the friend and bought a new one for himself. Both are throroughly pleased with the guns shootability and carrryability. I personally owned one when they were first produced and although the gun performed flawlessly it didn't fit my hand and I couldn't shoot well with it. Suggest you try a friend's before you buy one but if it fits, you will be happy with it.

Took the Kahr 45 cow to range today. I had problem with ejection of ammo and the slide was hard to clear misfired rounds. I am disappointed in how this firearm worked out of the Box. Shot different Ammo made some difference. I had purchase two other Kahr 45 CW mags which did not work in this pistol. The pistol would not fire with a full mag with one in chamber the first round would shoot and then it would jam or not eject the next round into the chamber. The price was reasonable if the pistol works properly. I may have to send back to manufacture. I will shoot another 100 rounds through it and see if it is just a break in problem.

Needed a light weight, concealable .45acp. Have a government model, and I love it. But I don't care who you are, you can't realistically conceal carry a government model. You can hide it, but it weighs so much that it is always on your mind. Uncomfortable. Saw this Kahr. At first, got mad at Bud's. I had forgotten my password, couldn't log on. This was on Sunday. Monday morning, I had a new password from Bud's in my email. Ordered this pistol Monday morning. Tuesday afternoon, my FFL dealer called me and said my pistol was in!!! ONE DAY! Anyway, took it home, wiped it down, took it apart. Used a small amount of gun grease and 2 or 3 drops of oil on the gun, then put it back together. Today, stopped after work and put 50 rounds of 230 grain hollow points through it. It's size and weight make it a handful with full power loads, but it is manageable. Gun is supposed to have a 200 round break in period. Bull. No failures of any kind! None. Never had a striker fired pistol before, this is a first for me. Very pleasantly surprised. This is now my carry gun. Period. If I could give it 6 stars I would. I am not rich, only purchase a new firearm every 4 or 5 years, expect them to be perfect. Can not believe that I have received so much value for the small amount of money this pistol cost. Would buy again. Don't wait. Get one.

I bought this hand gun and must say it was very good. The service from Buds is outstanding. Non compare to Buds.

I just came back from the range. My new Kahr CW45 work flawlessly when I use the Kahr mag. I had (2) fail to feed using my 1911 mags. I will have to work on that. After all the gun is new, only 65 rds. have been fires so far. You need to be a man of steel to cock it, it is not a good gun for anyone with weak hands. I found the trigger to be fabulous, long pull but very nice. A much better trigger then my Beretta Nano has. The recoil is far less then I expected, About the same as my 1911 Sig. I do carry every day using a Remora holster in the small of my back. It is so comfortable there. I like this Kahr CW45 and it is now my new carry weapon. ***** 5 stars on this pistol.
