Bought this as an off-duty carry weapon for cooler weather. Kahr recommends 200 rounds to break in. After 200 rounds I can say I\'ve had 0 malfunctions using everything from cheap steel case fmj through Federal HST ammo. It\'s so light and compact, yet is a breeze to shoot, that I may switch to full time carry. It uses standard 1911 magazines flawlessly so I can carry 15 rounds of 45 with no effort at all. Bud\'s service and delivery were second to none and I\'m now loving this Kahr. Thanks Bud\'s.

I purchased my Kahr cw45 on a Tuesday from bud's and it was ready at my FFL the following Monday. Buds always does great business in my opinion. This is my first experience with Kahr arms and I was not disappointed. Keep in mind that Kahr recommends that you use the slide release and do not rack the slide to chamber a round. The springs and fittings are very tight and do need a period of "break in"(200rds). Took my cw45 to the range and I didn't have any problems with it. I will say that the bar dot sights are a little strange and I was shooting low until I figured how to use them. Overall the cw45 is a great carry weapon. Very thin and lightweight with a total of 7 rounds of 45acp for less than $300. If your thinking about purchasing this firearm, I would recommend it for ccw. Thanks buds for wonderful service...

I really wanted to love this gun I love the caliber its chambered in I love the Aesthetics of the gun it is a nice 2-tone gun to look at and ergonomically the gun was perfect but I could not produce the type of accuracy making this gun a solid carry piece for me so in the end I sold it to a friend so my suggestion is to try before you buy but buds did a great job with shipping this gun out to me in a reasonable amount of time and the transaction went smoothly

I was disappointed in how this firearm worked out of the box. The first time I tried to chamber a round, the round would not go all the way in battery and the slide locked and I could not rack it. I had to take it to a gunsmith to have it cleared. I took it to the range and the same thing occurred again, but I was able to force the slide open and clear the round I tried the same operation with only 5 rounds in the 6 round factory original magazine, this seemed to help. I also purchased another after market Kahr CW45 (K625) magazine and the same problem occurred (would only rack and load round in chamber with 5 rounds loaded in magazine). I was finally able to shoot 50 rounds through it. Before going to the range I broke the gun down and visibly inspected it. After going to the range I field stripped it and cleaned it thoroughly. I will take it back to the range and see if it is just a break in problem (I hope so). I would like to be able to use the gun as my EDC, but if I can\'t trust it to function properly, I\'m not sure I\'ll be able to. I did a lot of research before I purchased the gun and got the impression it was well built and reliable -- not so sure now. The price from Bud\'s was very reasonable. But, if it is not reliable, it\'s not a good deal.
