Gun carries good and fits nice in most of my 1911 holsters and my Glock 23 fobus for in the house (loose) . I ran 300 rounds so far with just about everything including the Wolf steel case 230 gr ball. The Wolf was run from the 50-100 round count and i did not clean the gun from taking it out the box by this time and i did get 3-4 failure to go into full battery with the Wolf ammo. At 100 rounds i did a good cleaning and no problems since then with any ammo, Gold Dot, Golden Saber, Magtech, Wolf , Federal aluminum case, Blaser brass and Speer. All ammo was 230 grain and my carry ammo is 230 gr Gold Dot short barrel. Most of my 1911 mags work ok as spares in this gun but i did have to dremmel to front of a few of the Mc Cormick mags 1/16 of a inch lower on the front so the barrel does not hit when it tilts back on extraction. It's a cheaper way to go for range/ back up mags.

This Kahr cw45 is quite a pleasure to shoot with low recoil for a .45 of this size. After doing quite extensive research on this gun over the internet and youtube, I decided to go for it and quite frankly, no regrets thus far. Most of the reviews were positive with a few exceptions on the gun as well as Kahr customer service. Hopefully I'll never have the need to deal with them as far as warranty is concerned and warranty on Kahr is only 5 years to the original owner but I figured if something were to go wrong, it'll probably happen within the 5 year period. Worst case scenario, I can always sale it and buy something else but for the money, you can't really beat it. I paid $321.00 plus $20.00 to my FFL dealer and I'm glad to say, SO FAR SO GOOD!!! I've put about 500 rounds through it, Remington JHP 230g UMC, Federal 230g FMJ Brass, Federal 230g FMJ Aluminum and Hornady 220g P Critical Duty with no FTF, FTE or any other issues at all. However, This gun does not like steel like Tula and Kahr will advise not to use steel at all and you should take their word for it, it's true. I had multiple issues with Tula ammo on this gun but for a CCW you do not want to use steel anyway and if you want to shoot at the range for practice and fun on the cheap, just use the least expensive ammo you can get in brass, you'll do yourself a big favor and have a lot of fun doing it. The gun shoots a little bit low but with a few adjustments on the shooter and some practice, you should be able to hit bull's eye consistently at about 20 yards or less as this gun is designed for close proximity self-defense. Last but not least, Bud's customer service and overall service on shipping, handling and delivery it's simply outstanding. They deliver big store pricing power with excellent small town southern charm customer service and hopefully that will never change as they have now a customer for life. GOOD JOB BUDS AND KEEP IT UP!!!

The Kahr CW45, was much more than I expected. High quality, American made and low prize, was a plus! On the range, fired without hiccup 200 grain .45 FMJ. Grip does bite a bit, but was expected. Will add some Pachmyer slip on grips to tame that. Very accurate out of the box. BudsGuns was a pleasure to deal with, from my trade-in to the purchase, kept me informed every step of the way. Will do business with again!

Kahr 4543: Well made, especially for the price. Reliable AFTER breaking in and cleaning (80 rounds in one shooting and a cleaning did it for me), accuracy no problem, good trigger for a DAO, no sight adjustment was needed, good magazine release (no way it will drop the mag by accident, etc.), I like the grip angle and rough grip, carries well (very concealable), the slide stop was difficult to remove the first time only. Ordered on a Sat with a credit card, got the call from the FFL Wed and rec'd the xtra mag a few days later. Cleaned it, shot it with 5 FTF's in the first 80 rds. Cleaned it again and shot 120 more rds, same ammo, with no problems what-so-ever, and I do mean none. All that shooting was with 200 gr plated flatpoint reloads - none of my 45's like that ammo. Good break in and test ammo! I'm very happy with this gun - my new carry gun.

First off Buds did a great job shipping fast. The gun is great I use the extended mag. 7 rds. so me hand has more grip after only about 50-75 shots I was used to the recoil and able to put 7 of 8 shots while moving into a 10 inch target at about 25 feet. OK I'm no sharpshooter but with a bad limp and being 73 I think it will be my last carry gun. And it's light 19 oz.
