Was exactly what I expected as far as quality, especially for the price (under $200 total). Simple yet well made. Sights aren't as bad as I thought they would be. Very snappy in the hand, hold on tight. No complaints.

Recently purchased this this pistol for my wife as a "purse carry". She loves it, can work the action easily, and it fits into most of her purses easily. We have not had any problems with rounds jamming or anything. This is a very nice weapon for a personal carry.

Great turn around time from Buds, as always. Even with the holidays, 2 day shipping. This gun is what it is. A small compact gun. However, at short range 3-10 yards it is accurate. It seems to shoot low & I had to redajust my sight picture a little higher, but 25 shots out of the box, all within a 5" group. It is "snappy" for a little .380, but that is to be expected. For the price & free shipping, it's a nice pocket / purse carry. It would be great for ladies that want some protection, but not a lot of weight or bulk, plus it comes with a pocket holster & a lock, which is almost bigger than the gun.

size, weight, and ease of shooting, and of course it's a Ruger. Draw backs, the double recoil spring is very stout. No real big deal once loaded and slipped in a pocket or holster. Bud's price beats elsewhere hands down. Add to that no tax and no shipping fee.

This weapon changed my opinion of the 380. I bought this for my daughter as an EDC and truthfully liked it way more than I expected. It carries outrageously well and to my surprise the cartridge is ballistically very very similar to 38spc (not P or P plus). Look at Ballistic 101 before you scoff at this. I am use to a light trigger and this gun does not have that at all but it isn\'t designed to have a light trigger. At first I had a few failure to feed as the ramp is on a fairly steep angle and snub nose or hollow points would occasionally not feed but a simply polishing of the ramp fixed this completely and took less than twenty minutes. The sites on this weapon are nearly non existent as it is designed to be a reflex gun. I added a Lasermax laser and love it. I then installed a RTK Sweet PEE trigger and now the weapon is fantastic. A word of caution however. If ordering a RTK/Calloway trigger you must be sure to check not only serial number but also the rail for stampings which will determine what part you need. Honestly though buy it, polish the ramp and leave the rest as is. For me, for about $300 dollars I now have a custom, reliable EDC for my daughter and thats tough to beat ($169 weapon, $50 RTK trigger, $75 Lasermax). Another great Buds deal and transaction. 5 star Buds transaction 4 plus star for the weapon as you will need to work out the kinks but rest assured this is a great deal.
