Great product for men or women. You can shoot the 32 long in it if a woman carries it for protection, and it is not so expensive that you have to worry about it being stolen. If you want something heavier, go with the 32 magnum, which is not too bad.
If you shoot a .327 magnum in it, you might as well get a heavy .357 magnum for the same recoil and damage.

I bought this on a whim, but I really like the caliber. I would like this pistol in any reasonable sized caliber. It is light and small. Great for concealment. A little stiff when I got it but cleaning and lubing fixed most of that. This is my first Charter Arms. I might have to get the 44 Bulldog now.

5 stars for Bud's layaway program and quick delivery. However, the revolver had some nasty chatter marks on the rifling. I accepted the transfer and ended up returning the Patroit to Charter Arms in exchange for a Pitbull. Not happy with the revolver as delivered but Charter Arms did step up and honor their lifetime warranty.

This is a well built firearm. It has a tough looking stainless finish, nice grips and good balance. The .327 magnum round is a hot round. If the recoil is harsh for you the Patriot will fire .32 long, short and .32 H&R magnum also. It will not fire .32 acp. The trigger pull in double action is good and light in single action. For the price I feel this is a potent and versitile side arm because of wide range of ammo you can chamber. I had a minor issue with the finish of the Patriot and I contacted Charter Arms. In under 24 hours they sent me a FedEX label. I sent the Patriot back to Charter and they received it on July 5th. The issue was corrected and returned to me on July 14th! Also Charter called me and let me know they were shipping! Fast, courteous service from this company. I will consider Charter for all future purchases for sure. Buds service is excellent as well. I contacted Buds first and as long as I didn't take possesion I could return or exchange it. That was reasonable but I chose to work it out with the manufacturer. A+ for the Patriot, Charter and Buds.

This is a fantastic firearm. Easy to shoot and satisfactorily accurate for a lightweight, short-barrelled revolver. The 327 Fed Mag is a hot round and there is a signigicant difference, in recoil and sound, between it and the 32 H&R mag. I have had no problems, othe than stiff action because of newness. This was my second purchase from Bud's and I wouldn't consider buying anywhere else. The sales staff and the range staff are all friendly, helpful and professional.

Nice looking gun,if you like the dull Taurus gray. The image you see in the stock photo is not the revolver you receive though. I wanted to see PATRIOT on top of the barrel like you see here but it was small lettering and side by side. It still is great, thanks Buds!

I really like this gun one thing that is good it is small barreled for concealment reasons and I purchased the Crimson Trace to put on the Patriot. Man "O" Man does that look good and it shoots great. The only thing that I do not like about this gun is that the ejector is to short other than that it a great little pistol and would recommend it to anyone to carry.

This gun eats anything in 32cal except the 32acp round. From the 32 S&W short, long, 32 H&R mag and the 327 Fed mag it takes them all. For a small compact revolver it is as accurate as you are going to get. The thing I found hard to believe is my wife's worked over S&W chiefs special has a trigger pull in double action that I cannot measure on my Lyman scale because it exceeds 12lb and 2.1 lb SA, but this gun breaks at 9 lb DA and 4.6 SA. Compared to the Smith it is not as smooth but it cost less than half. Size and weight are the same and the grip on this is sligtly larger than the Smith J-frame round butt rubber grip. I find it very dependable and would carry it as a primary or backup with no qualms.
