Already had a black nylon holster for my S&W 686 with a six inch barrel. I never found a reasonably priced belt to put it on, until now. This is a good solution. It holds 20 rounds of .357 and is quite comfortable. Make no mistake, this is not a tactical or service quality item but for use around the property or on the range it serves very well. Word to the wise, it would be a rather snug fit for a true 50 inch waist. I would say it would be better rated as a maximum of 46-48" waist. It seems a bit bulky at first but after using it for a while it relaxes and works very well. It is a bit hard to rate this item because I don't want anyone to mistake it for a piece of serious tactical equipment. But for the price it is very good for lite duty. So I am rating it four stars with that in mind.
