I have had the opportunity to shoot this rifle very little since I purchased it but so far get shooter. Fun to shoot and product as described. Bud's was easy to deal with. I would purchase from Bud's again. The rifle price at Bud's was the cheapest I could find.

Great shooting rifle, definitely more accurate than the older ones, however the rear sight could still use some improvement, it’s not horrible but for the money could be better. Overall, very satisfied with the rifle and buds guns, a must in anyone’s collection.

I have always wanted a Mini 14. Bud's had an offer that I could not refuse. The service department had the weapon at my FFL in just a few days. I have always gotten excellent service from Bud's. The rifle is just beautiful and easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble. The only changes that I have made were to extend the stock using products from KICKEEZ (gave me a longer length of pull) and I replaced the rear sight with sights from Tech Sights. Very happy with the weapon and, of course, Bud's Gun Shop.

The gun is beautiful. A little pricey but I wanted a brand new one with the tapered barrel and that is indeed what I received. Came with two 20rd mags which is a plus. Haven't shot it yet but will give 5 stars for feel fit and finish.

This is a highly versatile gun. Well built and easy to shoot. I use it for small varmints but could be used for home self defense. A good alternative to the AR-15.

When I ordered/purchased my Mini14 from Buds it was when the effects of Covid 19 on Gun shops was already in full swing. The gun was in and out of stock a couple of times. Finally I got a "in stock email" and entered my order. I thought for sure with all the closings and delays from covid that it would be a big drawn out bunch of BS before my FFl got the rifle,,, But, Buds processing and email communication and tracking was better and as fast as anything I have experienced from Any on line purchase of any type. I most likely will purchase any next firearm from Buds in the future and would for say you likely can confidently do the same ! Buds check your listings for Mini 14s. The listing/description at the time of my order showed 1 magazine included. I did know Mini 14s got packaged with 2. Came with 2. Thanks for a great first time online gun buying experience...

Love the gun! I like the warm feel of a wooden stock. The engineering changes Ruger has made to the gun in recent years have made the gun a tack driver. My only gripe is the gun not using standardized AR-15 mags. Sometimes getting the pin in the hole is a real pain.

Bought my Mini here on buds(Great service as always). I was looking for something other than an AR-15 to go plinking with at the range and "truck" gun. Couldn't have picked a better option as I love it. The gun came in nowhere near close with the irons but after 20 rounds and I've got it. Rifle with 55gr is now giving me groupings around 1.5MOA (1.5" at 100yrds) With irons and not benched. To me that's good enough for my purposes. My only complaint is while tuning in the irons the elevation adjustment was stuck and I stripped out the screwhead a little as whenever installed was far too tight. No biggie though. After 300rds I've had zero malfunctions and to the newcomer like me I was intimidated by disassembly but after a couple times I know I could reassemble blind folded. Tip: besure to read the manual on ALL firearms of course but really study the iron sights adjustment as theyre a little tricky and you risk damaging the threads if done improperly.

Great Weapon, I have had a lot of fun with it. Before you go shoot, have a 5/64 hex Wrench and some lock tight with you. The rear sight became loose after two magazines and we did not have that size in either mine or my sons go bag tool kits. I soldiered through but it would have greatly improved accuracy if the sight was not moving around! On a separate note, be careful what Payment method you use with Buds. I sent them an ACH transfer from my bank that was removed from my account and was completed in 24 hours. Took Buds 11 days after that to get me my weapon. Cash in this case had NO Respect at all for Buds. I probably will not buy from them again for that reason.

First I would like to say Buds has fantastic service, fast shipping, and just and all around pleasure to deal with. Now on to the rifle. The stock is flawless, fit and finish are great. The machining is as you expect from a quality Firearm. I have ran an assortment of .223 and 5.56 through this rifle. All flawlessly. Would definitely recommend.

I was a bit leary at first about ordering a firearm online. But, after researching it a bit, Bud’s was always in the top 3 recommendations. Many times at the very top. Sweet little weapon. Sights were set left and low out of the box. All corrections made in first twenty rounds. Next 150 rounds were the size of a silver dollar. Rings for scope are included in the package. Bud's service was great.

This is my 3rd mini and the only one i ever had a problem with. I took it out to try and it shot 3rds and failed to extract then then kept doing the same thing. The fit and finish is not up to the older ones i have ether. I called ruger and am sending it back to be fixed i guess i can only hope they fix it. I bought the mini over an ar because of there reliability so this is not good. Buds was great good price and fast shipping.

This gun is an American icon in my opinion, tough and heavy duty with a yesteryear battlefield feel.. it looks and feels like a cross design between the M1 Garand and the M14 but in .223 I love this all American gun!! I added the 30 round mag, and a black tactical 2 point sling...I prefer it over the AR-15 and the AK hands down...
