I have taken this to the range a few times and it's functioned well. It takes some elbow grease to put back together if you take the bolt out. It's a shotgun and I only shoot 00 buck with it so there's not much to say about accuracy other than it goes where I point. My only complaint would be the recoil with the factory pad. I know, I know, it's a 12 gauge right? I grew up hunting waterfowl and my old pump 12g 26" barrel doesn't pack nearly the umph that this does. I'm an average frame guy and I don't bruise easily at all but this left some bruising. The pad can be replaced though (and I did replace it). All-in-all I'm happy with the shotgun. The ghost ring sight is very easy to acquire an adequate shot. I replaced the foregrip with one that has picatinny rails and put on a light on it. It's my dedicated home defense firearm. With that in mind, the recoil is not too much of a concern to me, if I ever HAVE to use this thing, I'm not going to be worried about bruising my shoulder.

Awesome weapon. My only complaint was that I was expecting a more traditional ghost ring sight, and it came with Remington's newer style ghost ring. But overall I'm still very happy with it.

Great gun, full of potential. I added the FDE Magpul stock and fore-end and the contrast is great. Plus the ability to hold 7 rounds of PDX... Really impressed with this item!

I have had this shotgun for a year and a half now. The finish and smoothness of action leave a bit to be desired, though this is an Express model not a Wingmaster. Out of the box it would not reliably eject aluminum based shells, they would stovepipe in the ejection port. Also, it would occasionally not feed shells into the receiver. I would have to hit the magazine tube as hard as I could to get them to start feeding again. Neither of these were difficult to fix, but it was disappointing that they had to be addressed. The ejection issue was fixed with a non-MIM extractor and a very thorough chamber polish. I can not believe that Remington would put their name on a gun with a chamber as rough as this one was. The feeding issue was due to the magazine cap nut and extension. With the cap nut fully seated on the fixed portion of the magazine tube, the extension tube would run out of threads before it would seat on the fixed portion of the mag tube. This left a gap that the shells would catch on. To fix this, I took my Dremel to the magazine cap nut and ground out the first 1/3 of a turn of threading. This allowed the extension to fully seat and the feeding issue is gone. It runs like a top now, but these problems were design or manufacturing flaws that should not have not made it past QA.
