This is the best shotgun that I have owned so far. I've had Mossberg and Remington shotguns in the past and had the chance to shoot this during a firearms training. After shooting it for about 10 hours I got home and immediately bought one. A reliable 870 with some great added features like the ghost ring sights and the extended mag tube. I highly recommend!

Ordered gun on the 12th and it came the today the 17th. Gun was in top shape and has functioned flawlessly though 100 rounds. Will buy from buds again for sure!

Bought the Remington 870 Express Tactical for home defense. Perfect transaction with Bud's - as usual! Took the gun out for a box of shells (1-1/8 #8 target load,) and it performed without a hitch. Action is smooth, loading and ejecting perfectly. I like the ghost ring sight, but not sure how useful it would be in a dark environment like a hallway at night. Will probably add a holographic sight to the installed picatinny rail. The gun is substantial with its receiver milled from a single block of billet steel, and heavy enough to soak up a lot of the recoil - no need for an accessory pad on this shotgun. 18-1/2" barrel length is perfect for close quarters defense. After much research, chose this Remington over its Mossberg counterpart, and happy I did.

Ordered it on the 9th and was shooting it on the 13th. Shoots the same as any other 870 I've owned. No surprises with Buds or the shotgun. Couldn't be more happy.
