Very impressive 45acp. I bought this as a truck/fun gun to keep the wear down on my nicer looking .45. I say nicer looking because after shooting this value firearm my nicer 45 only looks better, as this Hi Point shoots and performs every bit as well! I am extremely impressed with my first Hi Point. This gun comes with so many things others do not, or charge more for. You get a real gun case, not a cardboard box, you get fully adjustable sights, both windage and elevation, and you get a spare set of ghost ring sights for free! You just cant beat this deal. Sure, it may not be the prettiest, or the lightest in weight, but it goes bang every time and is very very accurate. Mine was shooting 1.5"-2" high straight from the box, 4 clicks down on the elevation and it was dead on. The only gripe I have is if you get your hand up tight to the top of the grip the slide will bite your hand, learn to keep your hand a touch lower than I usually do and problem solved. I may "work" on that slide a bit, or not, havent decided. I'd like to see Hi Point remove a little of the slide in that area to fix this minor issue. Overall, for the price and value....you wont find anything anywhere close to the Hi Point 45, its one fine bargin pistol that I'd buy again in a heartbeat! DR

Excellent handgun for the money. Goes BANG when you squeeze the trigger. What more can you ask for? There are a lot of people that knock Hi Point as "cheap" or "bulky." I think it's a great firearm and you can't beat the lifetime warranty. Don't hesitate to buy this one. Money well spent.

Accurate, reliable, ugly, heavy. My second Hi-Point .45 and 4th Hi-Point total. I love having a pistol that I have no fear of getting banged up that I know that I can trust. -1 Star because: Hi-Point changed their trigger to a new design not pictured above. The new trigger has a lot more sloppiness to it than the old design. The material in the trigger is not as nice either. Even with the ding I just gave it, I still STRONGLY suggest you buy it if you are on a budget or want a truck / boat pistol. Spare mags are cheap too! Buy it Buy it!

Nice firearm for the price, heavy on the upper but steady and sure shot. Nice case it came in with a ghost sight replacement as well as a locking feature. mags work with the carbine if you have it. Thanks again Bud!

Lots can be said about the HI point brand name. Simply facts are its heavy, its ugly, its scary looking. Honestly it is a good pistol that is pretty accurate. Its recoil because the weight is decent. This is not a collector piece, its not a conceal and carry comfortably kinda pistol. Personally this is a throw in the glove box rainy day, plug a nasty hole in you weapon. I love the 45 cal. though I hate the price of ammo. Its a fun shooter to cycle in your range time every once in awhile. Break down is not as easy as more expensive pistols. But, I`m not in a combat zone so I`m never in that much of a hurry. If they have it in stock and you got some extra cash get it. ITS AMERICAN MADE.
