Shot another 100 rounds of CCI mini mags. The firearm handled beautifully. Just about zero recoil and very, very accurate. No malfunctions or failures to eject but 3 rounds failed to fire. I ejected them and continued shooting without incident. I used the one original metal magazine that came with the gun and also used 2 new Sig factory plastic magazines, which is all they make for this gun right now. No problems with the new magazines. If you want a lot of fun and reliability plinkin' 22's, then the Mosquito is as good as there is and it's the same dimensions as the Sig 229, so you get good practice handling the all the safety and takedown features since the Mosquito has the same controls. Plus takedown, cleaning, and re-assembly is a lot easier than most 22 pistols.

Shot 100 rounds of CCI MiniMags without any glitches or hiccups. Accuracy up to 10 yards as good as any of my other 12 guns which includes Sig229, Sig 232, H and K P30, Glock 26 and Glock 27 and several Smith and Wesson revolvers. Sig Mosquito magazines are hard to find and expensive too. Seems they now only make polymer mags and have discontinued, as far as I know, producing the metal mag that came with the gun. I've seen prices as high as $50 for a mag. But I did find 2 online sources with inventory for the polymer mag between $32-$36 each. The gun comes with an alternate recoil spring which NEEDS to be used when shooting MiniMags and other high velocity ammo. Take down is simple enough. Practically identical to the takedown for the Sig 232. All in all, a lot of fun to shoot.

Just picked up my Digi Desert Camo at my gun dealer. Buds' service is par excellance. Shipped out from Buds on 2/8 and delivered to Florida on 2/10. Gun looks beautiful and I performed all the safety and function checks as well as loading the mag with snap caps and racking the slide to make sure everything ejected properly. Now to thoroughly clean the gun and then off to the range to report on performance. I know some reviews on U Tube complained of failures to eject with some ammo but other said that using CCI Mini Mags produced perfect performance. So I will only be shooting CCI Minis for my first test.
