I bought a Sig 522 paid for it on sat an recieved it on wed afternoon. Great shipping time an great service from Buds again an never a problem. The Sig 522 is a great rifle. It arrived in a hard case with one clip. But Sig added thier iron sights an rail system also which is another $100 added on for free. I spent some time this morning putting on sights an rails. Went outside on my 15 acres an shot it. Very very smooth trigger an very accurate at 40 yrds. I can only say I will continue to buy Sig from now on as they sent the 522 clean an oiled an ready to go. I have a leatherwood red dot that i will put on manana an with thier sights i have all i need now for the rifle. Thanks Buds after 4 buys with yall Im a customer for life, best service anywhere!!!

After the initial break in period (250-500 rounds), this rifle has not skipped a beat. It feeds everything from Remington golden bullets to CCI Stingers. I clean the rifle every 500 rounds or so (which tends to be each time I go shooting). I make sure to keep the weapon lubricated properly, and the magazines cleaned. I really like the fact that Sig used an established (non proprietary) magazine made by Black Dog Machine, its a solid magazine, and it can be purchased for as little as $10.00 directly from Black Dog. The trigger is a military style trigger, not a target trigger. The rifle is relatively lightweight, and well balanced. At 25 yards you can easily shoot one whole about a half inch wide if you take your time. I have shot most of the other "tactical" .22's and the Sig 522 is my favorite.

Bought this rifle and had it shipped to my FFL dealer. Ordered it on a Friday and got it on the next Tuesday! My main tac rifle is the CX4 Storm. I wanted a plinker and the 522 was an excellent choice. The first day out and I put 300 rounds with one jam using CCI Mini-Mag Varmit ammo. The trigger is smooth and makes it easy for rapid fire. The 25 round magazine is great but is a pain to get in the last few bullets in. The plastic case that came with it is ridiculously long for the gun, so I ordered a tac soft canvas case that fits the gun and scope snug. It's easy to take apart to clean. I'm a small guy so the gun fits me well. It is a very fun gun to shoot. Best of all the ammo is cheap! Some may say that it's expensive for a .22 but I think it's a great buy if you're looking for a tac style .22 without having to buy a mod kit like for the Ruger 10-22.

I've been a Sig owner for long time. This Sig 522 feels wonderful, shoots well no problems. Mag is advertise as 30+1 it's actually 25+1 not happy about that. Also no additional tactical rails on forend. I recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a fine firearm. Buds did a good job with my trades and tranfer to Colorado, I will definately buys from Buds again. Thanks Guys!!

My first SIG SAUER has been excellent experience! I have been turned over to the "SIG" side now. This is a fine piece of craftsmanship. If i had to choose one bad thing to say about this gun is, the shoulder stock raddles a little bit when fully extended. Other than that its perfect. This was the first gun i got from Bud's that was very clean from the factory that appeared to be cared for from the factory very well. NO sights! I knew this before buying. Its a great starter gun to create your own style......This gun gives you Freedom! It shoots well with no problems at all with 500 rounds so far using winchester.
