First purchase from Bud's! GREAT service and accurate description! The pistol is amazing with the Crimson Trace. Right out of the box, it shot perfectly, placing the round precisely where the laser indicated. Trigger pull was fairly high so I installed the Apex DCAEK. REALLY smooth action now! Going to shoot it tomorrow!

Could not be more pleased with this purchase. Bud's shipped my pistol quickly and I had it within a week. The M&P 9c is a great compact, with the CT laser grips it is fun to shoot, and was almost dead on accurate right out of the box. The laser wasn't installed on mine but it took just a minute to do so. I am using an IWB holster and it is easily concealed. I liked it so much I ordered the same model in .40 S&W and can't wait to get it.

I have put over 5oo rounds through my 9c since I purchased it in May and couldn't be more happier! This was my first time buying from Bud's and I will definitely buy from them again!

I've owned my S&W M&P9C for a few months, and have put just around 500 rounds of a variety of ammunition without so much as a failure to feed, failure to fire, or failure to eject. It's been mechanically flawless. Right out of the box, the trigger, slide and all other mechanisms felt great - everything moved like glass on glass, without any catching or grinding. The pistol fits my large hands well, either with the smaller magazines or one of the extended magazines with X-grip adapter. Everything feels very good, and the laser activates whenever I handle it with a little firmness (no more than I'd normally hold it with). First trip to the range, I fired a whole bunch of Fiocchi 9mm ammo, and I didn't have to adjust anything. The Crimson Trace laser was spot on at 25 feet, as I wanted. It fed and fired all the FMJ and JHP I could feed it. 115gr ~ 145gr all fired well, with a noticeably less sharp recoil than many of my older polymer pistols. At 50' and 100' the laser is reasonably accurate, giving me nice tight groups. To test the sights, I removed the Crimson Trace backstrap (it's pretty easy once you learn the technique), and it was plenty accurate should I not have the laser. However, I'm glad I paid more for the laser. Acquiring a target is much quicker, and it's easier when firing with my weak hand, single handed, or from close to the body. The front rail is too short for most lights, but there are still a few brands that will work for it. Takedown is a breeze with, or without, the included tool. It's easy to clean, and seems to prefer very little lubrication. There are plenty of holster options, as well. I've since tried other brands of brass and steel cased ammo, without problems or reduced accuracy. My S&W M&P9C is the most accurate compact pistol I now own, and fits my hands better than any other semi-auto I've tried thus far. I'm looking forward to firing it more and more, and when I move to a CCW-friendly state, I intend to carry the M&P9C with the 12rd magazines.

Bought this pistol from Buds in Feb 2011. I have shot over 600 rounds through it without a single problem. While I consider myself an average to good shot, I'm consistantly hitting inside a ten inch target at 15 yards without using the Crimson Trace. The gun has performed flawlessly with Fiocci, Remington, Winchester and Blazer Ammo, of from 115 grains thru 147 grains. Kick is moderate and not enough to affect relocating the target quickly for the next shot, I believe, although I have not yet carried the pistol concealed, that it would make a good weapon for defense if carried in a shoulder holster. In my opinion, It is just a bit too wide, at 1.20 inches, for a paddle or in the pants style carry, but I'm fussy about my waist line. I fell confident that I will be well taken care of in any confrontation with this gun. It's a sweetheart.
