I purchased this particular little 22LR pistol for my dad's birthday. I was a little disappointed that the typical 1911 controls are non-functional, but my dad did not mind at all. The pistol reminds him of his GI version he used in the army way back in the 1960's... but since it's an easy to shoot 22 with a very easy to manage slide, he car rack his own rounds without any physical limitations when we go to the range. The pistol seems to be of a very good quality and the fit/finish was perfect. Overall, I like the gun since it gave my dad a chance to go to the range and manage his own gun without any assistance. I would not recommend this product to anyone who wants to train with a 1911 pistol only using 22LR, you will be disappointed since the controls do not work. But if you are looking for a nice little gun for a kid's first pistol, or a way to go shooting with grandpa this is a perfect option.

The Puma 22 cal. 1911, considering the price I paid for it can only be considered a great buy. I took it to the range, and after about 300 rounds… only 2 miss fires. I used Remington Vipers and Blazer bullets to break her in. The gun looks and feels good. Of course, please consider the price, it’s not a Colt, but you don’t pay Colt prices either. Everything considered, I would recommend the Puma 1911 22 cal. To any friend.

Pretty good little gun for the price. Make sure you clean the gun before using it. I had to do some fine tuning on the sights. I've put 500+ rounds through my gun. Shoots very accuratly. The gun can missfeed due to the 22 shells but its usually pretty smooth as long as you keep it maintained and clean. Good Target pistol.

This gun is awesome. Very fast delivery, I got it 3 days after I bought it. Had some issues at first with Winchester xpert high velocity rounds (1280 fps) many FTF and FTE. I bought some CCI stingers (1640 fps) and Remington yellow jacket (1500 fps) haven't had a problem with either. Ive gone through about 350 rounds of yellow jackets and polished where the slide passes over the hammer to reduce friction. Now it fires very reliably with regular high velocity ammo. I love this pistol I highly recommend it. I will definitely buy from buds again, best prices I can find for most guns and extremely fast delivery. Over all, amazing service.

I bought my Puma 1991-22 from Bud's and I'm very happy with service. Will purchase from them again. I've had my Puma about two months and broke it in per instructions the came with gun. I had a few FTE in the begining but after about 150 rounds it works flawlessly now. I ran 200 rounds of cci mini mags though it to broke in and now it shoots anything I put into it. The gun looks great and is easy to clean, I will recommend to anyone interested iin it.
