GREAT PISTOL. VERY VERY WELL MADE, NICE WEIGHT AND FIT. FOR A RIM FIRE AUTOMATIC, IT DOES NOT JAM OR STOVE-PIPE. FANTASTIC GUN AT A GREAT PRICE, AS ALWAYS, AT BUD'S

I purchased this particular little 22LR pistol for my dad's birthday. I was a little disappointed that the typical 1911 controls are non-functional, but my dad did not mind at all. The pistol reminds him of his GI version he used in the army way back in the 1960's... but since it's an easy to shoot 22 with a very easy to manage slide, he car rack his own rounds without any physical limitations when we go to the range. The pistol seems to be of a very good quality and the fit/finish was perfect. Overall, I like the gun since it gave my dad a chance to go to the range and manage his own gun without any assistance. I would not recommend this product to anyone who wants to train with a 1911 pistol only using 22LR, you will be disappointed since the controls do not work. But if you are looking for a nice little gun for a kid's first pistol, or a way to go shooting with grandpa this is a perfect option.

The Puma 22 cal. 1911, considering the price I paid for it can only be considered a great buy. I took it to the range, and after about 300 rounds… only 2 miss fires. I used Remington Vipers and Blazer bullets to break her in. The gun looks and feels good. Of course, please consider the price, it’s not a Colt, but you don’t pay Colt prices either. Everything considered, I would recommend the Puma 1911 22 cal. To any friend.
