I LOVE this firearm and am proud to use it as my main carry...

Love this guy! I needed a smaller gun with great control and accuracy. I shot several 380 cal guns before making this choice. It is so smooth. I used it today to qualify for my CWP in my new state of residency. I scored 50/50. It’s very compact and perfect for me. I used to carry a 9mm Springfield but that was heavier and bulkier than I wanted to carry. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Shipping was fast. My new toy arrived in perfect condition. However I have been unable to play with it. Because of the Wuhan virus, all the ranges are closed... 😢

The Sig Sauer P238 is an outstanding carry pistol. I have been shooting this delightful .380 caliber pistol for over 6 years without a single issue, and it still looks brand new with regular maintenance. I slip it into a pocket holster, and it easily slides in my front pocket for concealed carry in any weather. The accuracy is nothing short of impressive for such a short-barreled pistol. Few pistols this size are fun to shoot, but this one is an exception proving to be a joy to put on target even during extended range sessions. The sights are easy to pick up with my not-so-young-anymore eyes.

A replica of a colt mustang. There is nothing to say other than it is a SIG...thats all good

I have found this gun to be reliable with both FMJ and defensive hollow point ammunition. Accuracy has been very good at 7 yards. It's not a long range target gun after all, but the X and 10 rings on a B 27 target usually don't look too good after I'm done shooting. Yes, the 9 ring takes some hits too, but I'm getting old. That's my excuse.

Thanks Buds made the purchase for Sig P238 Good price and on time shipping to the FFL dealer I selected in my area! Like the fact that the pistol has lots of after market parts to dress it up if you want! will shop buds again for my next purchase and recommend their site to friends!

Bought this P238 as a backup to my Sig Sauer P227 .45acp. Precision One ammo .380 ACP 90gr HP/XTP. Can't find fault with this pistol, but I did change out the stock grips to the Hogue Sig P238 rubber grips. It has finger grooves, is a bit thicker, much easier to grip and it looks good on the pistol with the olive drab green color. Just a better feel and fit for my hands. It has operated flawlessly through a good number of rounds I have already put through it. Goes about its business with no fuss.

very pleased with the P238. It was very clean when I received it, stripped it & lubed it so it was ready to shoot. Ran flawlessly, 200 rounds of FMJ & then 2 magazines of Cor-Bon 90gr HP's when it was hot & dirty. Little recoil or muzzle flip so very controllable in rapid fire. Shot a tad low @21' but for it's intended purpose no issue. Really a micro sized pistol so if this is what you're looking for you will be very happy with the little Sig. The manual safety is a plus for whatever state you choose to carry it in.

The SIG P238 fits into my DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster nicely and does not print through. For such a small pistol it is surprisingly accurate. Recoil on small guns can be snappy but the P238 was not bad at all. If you like 1911's (like I do) then you will love this pistol. The controls are very similar and you will find yourself operating it with ease. Buy one... you won't be sorry

WOW, what a gun-great fit and finish. The night sights are the ticket for eash target acquisition and the gun is VERY accurate to 18 feet out with rapid fire. Being a 380, this is a close in weapon for personal protection. Put 200 rounds through it on 1st trip to range and did not have a single hiccup with it. It is by far one of the nicest, small, all metal guns out there. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for with a Sig. Buds, as always has the best prices and service.

Great gun...great looks...shoots like a champ. Conceals well...very accurate and handles recoil exceptionally well. I've purchased many guns from Buds and they've always given superb service. Sold a Bersa Thunder (also a nice gun) for this but the Sig is hands down a better gun. Price is a bit steep but I believe this is a case of you get what you pay for. I'd recommend this to any one who doesn't have a 380 phobia!

This is a very good looking pistol, the Rosewood grips look great on the nitron finish and it feels very good in my hand. I shot it yesterday for the first time and was very pleased with its performance. No problems at all. I also have the P238HD (bought elsewhere) and noticed a difference not noted in any of the specs. The HD (all stainless) is noticably wider than this pistol. Not a big deal just odd. The stainless finish is not as nice as the nitron either. The Rosewood's night sights are great and the lighter weight is is great for pocket carry. This pistol is a keeper, I like it very much. Two notes: 1) Buds was very good to deal with as always, I think this is my 21 st. gun that I ordered from them. The only problem I have had was when I tried to order this pistol once before it turned out not to be in stock as stated, a computer error. They called and refunded my money right away. They are great to deal with. 2) The stainless HD (bought elsewhere) had an ejector problem out of the box. I called Sig and they were great as well. I was emailed a UPS label and had my gun back within two weeks, with the problem solved.

Finally got out to the range after two painful weeks of waiting. I am by no means a great shooter, but this Sig made me look like one. It is very accurate up to 15 yards, which is as far out as I went. I didn't have a single issue with FTF, FTE, etc. The P238 performed flawlessly. It was also very comfortable to shoot unlike the Micro Eagle I owned prior to this. I felt absolutely no fatigue in my hand after putting 100 rounds through it. The Micro Eagle would wear out my hand in as little as 10 rounds. All in all this is a great little pistol and worth the upgrade price. The only negative is the magazine issue. Not only does it only come with one mag. The factory mag I purchased from a local gun shop does not fit right and will not let the slide stop lever close the slide when depressed while the magazine is seated. It looks different from the one that came with the gun, and i'm thinking it is an older model that was the cause of some problems on the early versions of the gun. So, the mag search goes on. The gun, however, gets 5 stars easily.

Just picked up my new Sig yesterday. I have not been to the range to shoot yet but will do a part two review after I have done so. My initial impressions of this gun are nothing but positive. It has by far the best fit and finish of any pistol I own. The Nitron finish and rosewood grips are beautiful. The trigger pull is very crisp which is a nice change from the Micro Eagle I traded in for this. I love the compact 1911 design which is, in my opinion, the best handgun platform ever developed. It comes with a polymer holster, which wasn't mentioned in the description, so bonus! This makes up somewhat for the fact that only one magazine is included. After checking out the Ruger LCP, Kel-Tec 380 and a host of others, this felt the most like a real gun. This is not an inexpensive 380, but I believe that you get what you pay for and this SIg is worth every penny. I would rather own one of these than two Ruger LCPs. I also want to thank Brandon and Gurney for coordinating my layaway and trade-in on this pistol. They were flawless and have already earned a repeat customer. Thanks guys!

This gun has a great fit in my hand, much better than the slimmer LCP which I own. It is a bit heavier and slightly longer but easy to conceal and comfortable to carry with the right holster(I use the pancake style holsters). Haven't shot it yet but have been told that there is much less "shock" to it than the LCP also. Mainly I purchased this gun because I love the 1911 style and Sig has always made a superb firearm in my opinion. Bud's had great communication with this purchase and the gun was shipped right away. I am very pleased with the transactionan and will return to buy again.
