I've owned the P30L .40S&W (Decocker) pistol for a little over a year, and I've put many hundreds of rounds through it. It is accurate, reliable, and the included grip panels make customizing the fit quite easy. Given that history, I decided to purchase the P30 in the same configuration, hoping the shorter version would be easier for daily carry. I've put a couple hundred rounds through the P30 now, and it is every bit as accurate and reliable as the P30L (not that I would have expected any differently). And the shorter barrel made it much easier to find available holsters for concealed carry. Completely pleased with this handgun. Additionally, the purchase experience with Bud's was easy. I received great emails keeping me informed of the order status. Shipping to my local gun shop was painless. The product arrived as described. No complaints.

“Fits like a glove” is the first phrase that comes to mind. Fantastic weapon. It's hard to describe just how comfortable the grip is. It feels so natural when you're holding it. I also like the streamlined design with the decocker on the back rather than hanging off the side. This makes it very comfortable to carry. I've run about 500 rounds through it without a single issue. My only complaint, and this seems to be fairly universal on this weapon, is the trigger. It's fine for self defense situations, but is a little stiff and spongy for target shooting. I've had a USP for 17 years and this is a fine progression in the line. No regrets, triggers can be worked on and I know if my life ever depended on it, this one would never let me down.

Superb pistol. Had to wait for HK manufacturing to catch up with demand, but this is well worth the wait. Great shooter, doesn't feel like a .40, more like a 9mm. Fit, finish, action, trigger all exude quality materials and workmanship. Cycles any ammo from junk to Premium. The standard grip is phenomenal, plus they provide additional backstraps and side panels. If you can't find your perfect grip configuration, you're probably not of this species. Sights are quite good, but I wish they were adjustable. All my acquaintences who handle this are extremely impressed, and these guys are pretty discriminating. Bud's service was top shelf, transfer was a breeze. Between price selection and service, I see no reason to shop anywhere else.

First off, this is a great pistol. Shot it today and full disasembley as well. Pros: Very well built High quality materials light compact accurate Best grip of any pistol I have ever encountered Cons: High recoil Not easily disassembled (I have to use a punch rod) Overall, the pistol has a great feel. Very smooth function as well. I like how it goes into single action after every shot which makes it very accurate for me. A lot of double action pistols don't do that. The only negative on firing is a high recoil which I feel is do to the size and weight but is not any way uncontrollable. The other negative is disassembley which seems to require a little to much work but maybe I just haven't learned the trick to it yet. Either way, I still believe this is well worth the price.

I love the P30. I've purchased both the 9mm and the 40 S&W. A little pricey...very high quality...extremely accurate shooter...and best of all - the most comfortable grip I've ever experienced. Love this handgun..........
