My experience was not as good as the other two reviews here. First nothing negative about Bud's everything went just like it was supposed to with their part. My .25-06 will not group, used Hornady American WhiteTail, Hornady Superformance, and Federal Premium all with 117 grain bullets. At 100 yards there is no pattern to where it will shoot and at best is a 2" group with the Superformance. Tried two different scopes with the same results. I own a Savage Model 12 in .22-250 and it drives tacks, and even with my meager skills will shoot 1/2 moa groups. Take out the one I always seem to rush and it's closer to 1/3. The second scope trial was the one off that savage. I own a Winchester 94 that will outshoot this "Long Range Hunter". Not impressed we'll see if Savage does anything to help.

Got the goods to my LGS within 6 days, extremely plesed with service - everything went according to plan. Had a new Minox 4-20x50 scope to go on it, and DeadNutz mount, with Harris Bipod. Everything assembled easy, and went to sight in at the range. Mounting was only about 8" off at 100, and walked in easily while doing the shoot-clean-shoot-clean break-in routine. After 9 rounds, went to try some groups with Hornady's 117gr SST. 1st couple went just over an inch, next 2 were around 3/4"...cleaned again, and after fouler, shot 5 shot group at just over 3/4".
Switched to the Superformance version with the same bullet, and had amost no change in POI. 1st 3-shot group went just over 1/2", next 3 were around 3/4". Cleaned again, and after fouler went 3/16"! All this is off the bipod, seated at outdoor range, no wind. This thing can shoot!
What's almost as amazing as the groups was that there was no stringing as the barrell heated up - Accustock doing it's magic! Recoil is non-existant, and with the adjustable cheekpiece you get a really nice cheek-weld no matter what height of scope you mount. Love the gun, and love Bud's service - highly recommend both!
