Great gun at a great price. Shoots straight as an arrow right out of the box with the MBUS flip-up rear sight I put on it. Only came with one mag and no sling, but that's not a deal breaker for me, just an FYI. Go ahead and pick one up, can't go wrong for the price. As for Bud's...hey, they do it right. Can't get any better.

Awesome AR! Have put over a 1000 rounds through this rifle with no issues at all! Love it! I have and would recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a great entry level AR.

Great gun, went through 500 rounds of Wolf WPA .223 first time out (voids DPMS warranty - but that doesnt bug me, ill fix it myself, its an AR afterall). No failures of any kind. Handles PMC green tip 5.56 like a champ. A good AR should eat anything you feed it, and this gun does just that. Factory mag runs good, bought some gen 3 PMAGS - they work great and drop free. Little to no daylight between the upper and lower receivers - impressed my DPMS manufacturing tolerances. In my opinion, this is the best optics ready AR at this price range.

My first purchase with BUDS and everything went as described/outlined on the site. Very satisfied with this DPMS A3-L16; my first AR platform. Performed well beyond expectation out of the box. I oiled it well and put about 70 rounds through it the first time out with no mis-feeds or jams, thats including the 30 rounds I fired with the factory mag that came with the rifle. Very pleased and I look forward to working with BUDS on my next purchase. MS

I ordered this on 12/18 and recieved it from my FFL today 1/2 i guess it takes alot longer if you pay by check, but anyways the gun is beautiful just as i expected. I cannot wait to shoot it. Buds get an A+ in my book.

DPMS is great... No FTE or FTF's. It's accurate and shoots every time you pull the trigger--shot 5.56 and .223 with no hassles. I put a slide fire on it for fun and it works well with that too. This thing is just as good as a Colt or LMT. So if you want to save 600 dollars, this is the best you can get for such a low price.

This was a very nice rifle and price was good also. I am in the active army and use M4's all the time I took this gun and made it just like ones we use on base it was a very nice gun and I think you cant go wrong with this buy, never had any problems with it.

First of all, buds was great of course; my FFL transfer went a little less smoothly but that's an entirely different issue. Second, the rifle came just as promised, with two magazines, a sling, a DPMS Lite 16 A3, and some of the paperwork (owner's manual, warranty card, sticker, and what not but no plastic case, sorry DPMS still hasn't reinstated that). All that the rifle needs is some cleaning, a rear sight or electronic sight, and ammo and its ready for whatever you need it for. After going to the range I have seen no failure to feed(FTF) or failure to eject(FTE), only smooth action and possibly one of the best AR platforms on the market, for the money. Personally, i have had no problems with the Pardus stock or the trigger guard, which have both received negative reviews because of their sharp edges; although, some sandpaper or a file to remove the edges wouldn't hurt anything. Just as a side note, the magazines will come very tight so they will need some time to break in, which is normal for new factory magazines, but they do drop free with no issues. Now, the trigger is a bit stagey during pull, but when it breaks, it breaks clean. If you're looking for an AR that is any different, then i wish you the best of luck. All in all, this rifle will most likely out-shoot the shooter and is well worth the money. Again, as a side note, the three year warranty that is offered by DPMS will be voided by reloaded or foreign ammo so if you plan on shooting Tula for cheap (which still cycles fine), you will kiss the warranty goodbye. I would recommend Remington UMC .223, American Eagle .223, or Federal XM193 5.56 for accurate, semi-inexpensive ammo, which will not void the warranty.

A very solid built AR. I haven't had any of the problems that I've read in the other reviews. The rifle is solidly built, everything fits very tightly and all mags I have fit and lock. I'm very satisfied with this. In my opinion, it's just as a fine of a rifle as a colt. Will totally recommend this manufacturer to anyone looking for an AR. As anyone here will tell you, Buds is amazing and they have a customer for life.

This is my first time ordering from Bud's. I can honestly say that I will definitely order from them again. My rifle arrived on time, I wasn't able to actually pick it up until 2 weeks later, mot Bud's fault. It was the FFL. However, The rifle was packed nice and after a few accessories added it has not let me down. Great Buy!

got my rifle on 7 /19/2012 the rifle came well oiled , with 2 mags , a sling , loaded chamber thingy , zeroing target . its a really nice rifle for the price . my only thing is , DPMS stop sending the rifle in a black case , and now it comes in a card board box . sighs , lol why is everyone being so cheap these days , i thought i would have some time to save up and buy a case , at least a year , so to just buy some aftermarket parts , but now that just put me in a bit of a bind as i have kids at home and i really needed that black case , to kinda hide my new rifle . now im forced to buy a case asap. but all in all its a good product . took it to the local range , and fired 3 boxes of tul ammo , 55 grain , and the rifle did fine ,

Received my AR after 3 days of ordering, good job Buds. Great gun for the price so far. 100 rounds fired day I got it and no problems. Very stable, low kick back, light weight, all and all good buy.

Had this for a couple months now, and emptied some ammo through it on multiple occasions. My final review: a good, solid AR platform at a good price. Mounted an NC Star tactical 4x scope on it, works like a charm. Good accuracy, not a lot of recoil. (just like any other AR) Not too picky with ammo, will run just about anything I toss in it. Just a warning, this rifle is just like all AR-15's in that it needs to be properly cleaned before firing. The bolt MUST be wet when you chamber your first round, or the rifle will not perform. Other than that, no issue with firing. Another note, the stock this one comes with isn't exactly perfect, it's not bad, but I think most people would want to swap it out and I'm no different. As for Bud's, I paid using a check this time so the process was a bit longer than usual, but I still got it in a timely manner. Bud's gets five stars as usual, they let me know where my rifle was every step of the way. All in all, the only reason I don't give this rifle 5 stars is because it's an AR, and I'm a bit biased towards the AK's =p
