The service that I have received from Bud's was very good. The gun was shipped and arrived in a timely fashion.
The rifle is currently only capable of shooting a 2.5 inch group at 100 yards. I have tried 55 g Fed bonded , 55 g American Eagle , 62 g Fed bonded rounds and hand loads of various rounds. I'm going to contact DPMS directly and see what they suggest. I will keep you posted.

Absolutely love this firearm, it's heavy on the front end with the bull barrel so I'd invest in a good bipod

This gun is accurate, although heavy due to its bull barrel. It is a bench or tri-pod rest gun. In 223 caliber the weight of the gun allows you to stay on your sight and shoot additional rounds if needed. I use it for prairie dog shooting and love it. Don't have to worry about this gun getting to hot and affecting your accuracy. Awesome accuracy from 100 to 400 yards if paired with the right scope. The action is smooth and feeds with no problems. I like this gun so much, I bought this one for my son as a gift. As usual Buds Guns is excellent to work with. Follow their online purchasing instructions and get your gun from your local FFL in a jiffy. Buds has the best online pricing that I have found.

This weapon is AWESOME!! Rather heavy but is a TACK DRIVER. Little or no recoil due to weight....gun is impressive..GET ONE ....from Buds!! As usual buying from Buds was easy and ALWAYS saves you money.

I looked at a lot of AR bull barrels before deciding on this one. A friend mine consistently groups under .400 @ 100 yds. with his DPMS bull barrel. After proper barrel break in and zeroing the gun decided it liked Hornady V max 50gr best. Now the fun part, steel parrie dogs, 230 yds, BOOM-POP, BOOM-POP, BOOM-POP, BOOM-POP, four dogs in less 10 seconds, may be no record, but it was the sweetest classic Rock and Roll I have listened to in a long time. The gun performed flawless, the price is the lowest, the shipping is fast and free, the staff at Buds Gun Shop are a little more than fantastic. You have to ask yourself why you have not ordered one yet?

This was my second purchase from Bud's and it went flawlessly and the DPMS arrived in a timely manner. The rifle itself is spectacular. It comes with a decent plastic carry box, a chamber flag, and 1 steel magazine. The bolt carrier group was properly staked, and the play between the receivers is well within spec. The only nit-pick someone could say is that the finishes between the two receivers are slightly different. Other than that I'm very impressed. At the range with a little 2-7 Redfield, I was able to print 1/4 moa with Armscor, Tula, Wolf, and Herter's at 100 yards with a stock trigger and I'm no operator. The best groups I could reliably shoot with so low magnification was .14 inches at 200 yards with PMC 55 gr. BTFMJ rounds. With those boat tails, even my Dad could ring the four hundred yard gong consecutively being half blind. Thank you buds, Thank you DPMS. Sean W.

I could not be more happy with this rifle. Fit and finish of the rifle is good. I put a riser block on the picattiny rail and mounted a Barska tactical scope. I have shot around 500 rounds through it now with no malfunctions. I consistently shoot cheap ammo at under 1 MOA accuracy. My best group so far has been .25 MOA using Hornady 55 gr V-MAX. This far exceeded my expectations. I was initially planning on adding a match grade trigger but I don't think that I will change a thing for now. Buds service was great. I did in store pickup and found the staff very friendly and helpful.
