First, I sometimes see negative reviews for Buds. I have purchased NUMEROUS firearms from Buds and never had one single problem with them. They are very competitive in their pricing and do a great job. Maybe these bad reviews are being posted by the competition? The 92A1 is a phenomenal weapon. Very accurate out of the box. Mine was made in Italy and the craftsmanship is obvious. Fit and finish are excellent. I upgraded from a Ruger SR9 - there is no comparison. The Beretta wins hands down. It's worth the extra money. Accuracy is much better because of the longer barrel and diminished recoil. The weapon weighs quite a bit more than other handguns and is all metal. First class weapon. Get one!

I picked up the pistol yesterday, brought it home and cleaned it up, stripped it and cleaned it and took it out for a test run. It is Italian made and the fit and finish is very nice. The three 17 round mags are very good and loading was pretty easy. I mostly shoot 1911's and find the 17 rounders also alot of fun. The pistol ran perfectly and was pretty accurate. With the big mags I found that I had run through over 200 rounds very quickly and without one malfunction. I am very satisfied with the new Beretta. The downside is that the trigger is very heavy and there are alot of plastic parts on the pistol. I don't like the plastic guide rodwith captive spring much or the plastic trigger. I have already ordered the metal trigger and Elite hammer from Beretta and all new springs from Wilson plus their metal fluted guide rod and slim grips. I have a Beretta Compact set up like this and it shoots MUCH better and is more accurate. The metal trigger has a better feel and no flex and the springs and hammer helped change the trigger pull on the Compact from a little over 6# single action and 10# double action to 4.2#'s and 8#'s. A huge difference. It is a little agrivating that gun company's these days use a few inferior parts on they firearms but then they and other companys sell after market parts to bring the weapons up to what they should have been in the first place, for a price. In this case turning a $700 pistol into a $1000 pistol. But, it is what it is. In any case I am very happy with the purchase and will be even happier with it after the upgrades.

Hats off to Buds for handling my trade deal which enabled me to buy this fine Beretta. The gun arrived with a small but noticeable and very visible scratch on the slide. Not a huge deal to me because I bought this gun to be a shooter, but if I was a nitpicker I might have returned it for that reason. I had heard that many of the Italian made 92s arrived with scratches from the factory, and the rumor was true in this case. The nice cardboard box/sleeve that comes on the plastic hard case was also pretty well battle scarred. Other than that, I'm very happy with this pistol. Three 17 round magazines and a dovetailed front sight were the deal maker for me on this one. I won't review the actual gun here because you can get complete reviews of this gun ina million places online, but as far as the transaction, Buds gets an A+

Fairly priced, seems to be typical high quality Beretta, a little disappointed to see a few metal flakes in the gun on initial disassembly, however gun looks/shoots fine.

As usual with any imported gun it's incredibly oily in the box. But exactly what I was expecting, and glad to see 3 magazines. Buds shipped quick. My streamlight fitting for 1913 doesn't seem to work, but the glock fitting is snug enough, no rattle.

This was my first firearm purchase as well as my first purchase from Bud's. I've fired other pistols before but nothing like this. The accuracy of this gun is superb. I know any shots that end up off target are due to my error, not the gun. It's very easy to clean and the action is really smooth. The recoil buffer works so well that recoil is almost non existent. The 17 round mags give you plenty of time at the range without reloading. The only negative things that I have to say about this gun are that if you have small hands it will be difficult for you to hold it. I would try to examine the gun at a local shop to make sure it fits your hand before you purchase online. The initial double action trigger pull requires a lot of pressure but is very smooth. I plan on upgrading to the Wilson Combat 16# D spring. Also, the 17 round mags mean you will burn through ammo very quickly. I've put 350 rounds through it so far with no issues. If you're thinking about purchasing this gun, don't think just do it. I can't recommend it enough. Thanks Bud's!
