The first round fired and the second round jammed. I cleared the jam and the SR9C has been flawless ever since. It compares very favorably with my Glock 19. I also had jamming issues with it on the first mag. Excellent since then. For me this is exactly what I wanted. It is a high quality gun that is a combination edc/home defense weapon. It is accurate and has a very nice trigger. Of course recoil isn't an issue. Well balanced and fun to shoot. My initial impression is very favorable. I've bought and traded a lot of guns. The SR9C is one I plan to keep. Bud's prices are hard to beat. 380.00 for this gun is a tremendous value.

I bought this gun on a Saturday night and it was at my FFL by Tuesday morning! Great job buds! I put 150 rounds through this SR9C with a couple different types of ammo. It performed flawlessly. All the great reviews for this gun are true. Won't beat it for the money. Even the Glock lovers can't deny this is a great gun.

This firearm looks much better in person than it does in pictures. The trigger break is lighter than my Glock which makes this a very accurate gun. The safety is not a problem, it is far enough back in the frame that it does not get activated by my thumb when the gun is in use. The stainless steel slide has a nice finish. I have shot 100 rounds and the gun functioned flawlessly. The only issue I have with this gun is the magazine does not seat as easily as it should when inserted but I'm hoping the magazine catch will break in as this is a new gun. I purchased this gun for concealed carry and it conceals great with a good quality holster. I like that it comes with an extended magazine and a short magazine, it is like owning two guns. This gun is a great value for the money.

The Ruger SR9c in stainless is everything anyone could want in a compact 9mm; a smooth striker-fired trigger pull, as good or better than a Glock. Solid reliability, and I'm talking 800 rounds of cheap target ammo with 0 malfunctions, misfeeds, or jams. Sights can easily be swapped out for night sights without a gunsmith, provided you have a vise with a set of soft jaw attachments and a brass punch set. Even the factory sights are fully adjustable; the rear adjusts for windage and elevation, while the front is drift-adjustable for windage. Aftermarket parts are easily found. Slide finish shows absolutely no signs of holster wear whatsoever. But, most importantly; this pistol is ACCURATE. I couldn't have made a better purchase. The SR9c gets an 8.5 out of 10; and my handgun standards are high. **Buyer Beware: If you are a guy with large gorilla hands, you may have trouble getting those thick fingers on this pistol with the 10-round mag. The 17-round mag will solve this problem though. Also, the slide is a little hard for some women to rack successfully. This will work itself out after a few hundred rounds and keeping the slide locked back whenever the gun is not being used.** Buds was fast with shipping, even though they were in the middle of a severe winter storm at the time I placed my order. The reason I keep coming back to Buds; PRICES. As long as they keep the prices low, I'll keep coming back. This was my 6th buy from Buds, and I'm sure I will be back soon.

Very nice gun. Love the feel and the quality. I got the one with the stainless steel slide - looks great. Bud's was great to do business with. Good communication as to status.
