First time ordering a gun online and the service was great. Bud's kept me up to date via emails every step of the way. Pricing was great and my LFD discounted his fee as a Bud's preferred dealer. I've only shot 125 rounds with this great gun so far and it operated flawlessly. Sthot a mix of Fed 115 gr, WWB, Winchester +P JHP and all fully cycled. Sighting was was easy and accurate right out of the box. VERY managable recoil. GREAT trigger. Once I get a few hundred more rounds through it, it will become my everyday carry. Ruger made a winner here. I recommend this gun to everyone!

Got my SR9c yesterday morning and went to the range a couple of hours later. I had tested the model at my local range and liked it. After firing a little over 100 rounds I LOVE it. This handgun feels perfect in my hands, the sights are dead on. As for the trigger action? My husband agrees that the trigger is as near to perfect as you can get. I only had two misfires/misfeeds but I am blaming myself for those as it appears I didn't pull the slider back right. Would I recommend this weapon to anyone else? Without a doubt and without reservations. Diana R., Austin TX

Wanted to purchase an American made pistol. Ruger has a done a great job in marketing and training phone personnel. But found the SR9c to be of poor quality and workmenship. Returned the pistol to Ruger the 1st week I had it because barrel was horribly marred and sites were twisted. Came back after 3 weeks, would not eject, stove-piped and jammed every shot! Returned once more to Ruger, at this point I don't expect much. I also have the Ruger SR22 which is a beautiful, well made, accurate pistol. No doubt Ruger has some good products for the price. But I will think long & hard before I purchase another Ruger and will be more open to other companies. Even if they are outside the USA when the quality and workmenship is more important then the marketing.

Buds was great AGAIN.... the SR9c is great - loved the sights, very naturally easy to align. It just feels great. The deciding factor over the M&P and XD was both the external safety (now M&P has that option) and the trgger. Its a REALLY good triiger i believe - good feel crisp. I didn't like the M&P or Walther (same style) trigger safety feel at all. Shot over 200 rounds already... the first box had a few ejection / stove pipe problems but once the springs got worked it went away. You need a firm grip on these short barrel pistols - my relaxed grip (used to a 1911) was affecting the recycling of the slide.....making it jam. All in all.... awesome purchase. Very happy with the Ruger SR9c and with Buds.

Thanks to Bud's for excellent service and price. I read a number of reviews from various sources and tried out the SR9c at my local range before purchasing. Gave it a thorough cleaning and took it to the range. Ran 200 rounds through it without any malfunction. Going back to the range next week to put a few hundred more through it. I'm very comfortable using this gun for my daily carry with Hornady Critical Defense or similar ammo. Jeff P., Sarasota, FL
