I've had a 4" stainless Ruger GP100 for 30 yrs. now. It was my first Duty Gun as a LEO. Always liked it. Now my wife, who prefers revolvers, is getting into shooting more, and has recently got her Carry Permit, needed a training/ carry gun system. Because of old injuries she is very recoil sensitive. I bought her the GP 100 in 327 Federal for Range and Training,
and an LCR, same caliber for concealed carry. Her GP100 is just like mine. Same quality, fit and finish, the same [very good] factory trigger, etc.
The beauty of this chambering is that 327 Federal loads approach effectiveness of the 357 while generating approx. 40% less recoil. Practice and plinking in 32 S&W Long feels like a 22LR.
Now the only criticisms I have: The adjustable sights are not all that visible. A set of Williams adjustables with fiber optics are on their way now. Also 32 caliber rounds in general are not readily available and are expensive.
The LCR [same chambering] makes shooting a snubby fun, not the beating you get from a 357. Also remarkably accurate.
The transaction with Buds was, as always, fast and smooth.
