An excellent firearm shoots accurate functions flawless. I put G10 drips on it and the gun feels and handles like my 45's now. The only thing I did not realize is that with a 22 you snarf ammunition like a thirsty man on the desert.

I purchased this firearm 1-16-2015 and sent a bank MO the same day. Bud's received the payment on 1-20-2015, but I did not get my gun until Friday, 1-30-2015. CS was a joke for as providing shipping information. In the end, I finally got the gun...... The gun is perfect. I have put over 270 rounds through it right out of the box. I did NOT clean it before going to the range; I wanted to check the quality of the gun itself. Here is the following ammo that I used to test this gun: Remington Golden Bullet (1255 fps PLRN), Remington Cyclone (1280 fps LRNHP, CCI Standard Velocity (1070 fps LRN) and some 40 grain Blazer (I do not have the fps for this round). I had some FTF issues as I neared the 270 round point in my test. In my opinion, the gun is fantastic! I found the POA to be the POI each time I shot the gun. I plan to add a FO front sight (green), extended mag and lock release, and a set of grips with a thumb cutout from VZ Grips.

Upon opening up my new ATI GSG 1911 22LR I was impressed at the quality, look and general apperance. Shot 50 rounds thru it no issues at all, was able to hold a 5 inch pattern and I am new at shooting targets. I recommend this pistol to all ages. Buds delivered as promised, customer service was superb thanks.

Bought this gun back in April 2012, started feeding it every ammo I had right out of the box. No FTE or FTF. Can't complain one bit, ATI/GSG guns are money well spent. And of course,Buds did a great job with shipping.

You get what you pay for. Grips are not wooden. they are plastic. Fit and finish are poor. Overall build quality is poor.

The German Sports Gun 1911 22 Cal. is a good pistol. The best of the current 1911 22s, in M H. O. It is well made , and operates flawlessly, when using better quality ammo. It is also very accurate. I am impressed ! On the down side , the walnut grips are not really wood , the are some kind of compressed sawdust , with no grain or finish. You would be well advised to get the model 2210M11B with the plastic grips for $6 less , as you will no dough want to replace the grips with something better. The "wooden" grips are not worth having . I am a little surprised they put such a grip on such a nice gun . It took 18 days to get the gun from Buds, normally Buds is a lot faster than that . It was over the Christmas Holidays that may explain the delay. All in all, I would rate the gun 5 stars , as the only drawback to the gun is easily remedied.
