First, the good: Bud's Gunshop really provides a seamless purchase process. From ordering to pick-up at my FFL, everything was smooth as glass. Now, onto the actual gun: I purchased this gun to be the foundation of a project, fully recognizing the price and source-country likely meant I would not be getting a spectacular example of the world's finer firearms' manufacturers. However, I didn't expect it to be quite this bad. The manufacturer's box was smashed and partially open, which served as a red flag for what was inside. In summary, the gun was caked in (what looked like) 10w-30 and chips of wood. No big deal, I expected eastern-European shipping grease (the wood chips were a little strange, though). Unfortunately, the receiver (and other parts) were adorned with several scratches - and I'm not talking machining marks, these are scratches. Additionally, the handguard was chipped and all the rails and races are as rough as the rest of the gun...I know, I know; just shoot it a lot - I don't think that's the solution here. The gun looks beat up and the icing on the cake was the (included) US Palm magazine absolutely does not fit. To get the mag in, you have to firmly slam it on the butt plate, which then makes it nearly impossible to remove. It's only a matter of time before the mag release paddle is bent or snaps off. I'm debating on what path to follow; keep or return but (suffice it to say) I'm disappointed. I have several other AK mags and only the "made in Korea" one fits. Moreover, my other AKs, like my Zastava, were only a little more money and the fit and finish on that gun far exceeds this poor Romanian girl. My recommendation, unless you're willing to put up with a new gun arriving with the looks and performance of a "beater," I'd avoid a Romanian Draco.

The product that I received was pretty much as is except for the grip. In the picture, a Bakelite grip is advertised. What I received was the standard blacl stippled grip. Everything else was great.

Over all the gun is in good in good condition eternally I guess, i haven’t gone to the range with it yet to see how it shoot. but the gun also came with a few scratches that had me a little disappointed because as a new I didn’t expect all of those scratches and it was also drenched in lube or oil inside and out, the whole gun felt wet and slippery it was to much.i didn’t like that at all. But like I said over the gun is n great condition and it looks awesome not considering the scratches. I can’t wait to go out and shoot it soon.

Love this gun as most recent review said. Doesn’t come with wood grip just a cheaper plastic. But that’s ok. My only gripe would have to be the safety lever. When you lock and unlock the safety the the switch scratches the gun leaving a silver rainbow shape mark on the firearm. Not buds fault of course. And the gun came drenched in oil. Can’t wait to shoot!!!

Picture is a lie. It comes with no cleaning rod and the holder part for the rod under the muzzle has been shaved off so you cant place one to hold. The handle is black instead of red. Build quality overall is pretty good. No machine Mark's on mine. Revits look good. No magazine wobble with pmag that was shipped with firearm. Everything feels tight. Hope to loosen it up when I break it in.

Purchased for step son, he loves it, will chamber and fire any ammo you load in it, not my cup of tea but he loves it

What can I say just buy it a Draco will change your opinion on assault pistols, massive power in a small package! The accuracy was surprising I can ring the 50 yard plates all day with open sights!

good weapon but way over priced..........

This pistol is so fun to shoot with a brace! Everyone that tries it loves it. Everything you would expect from a company that has built AKs from the beginning. No malfunctions after 500 RDS and 15+ different mag types. Does not come with side rail, but can be added later. Would buy again, and should have bought several when they were$350.

I love this gun , very fun to shoot. Only thing I don't like is that it only came with 1 mag but everything else is perfect I'm a huge fan and recommend it to anyone ..

Best AK pistol for the money works like nothing could stop it.

All parts in weapon are brand new, and functioned flawlessly.

This is a great little gun. I've only had about 400 rounds through it, but it hasn't had a single hiccup. Plus it's a lot of fun. Fit and finish were good, sights were good out of the box (confirmed with bore laser in the yard and again on paper at 25 yards once I got to the range). This is a great choice for a range toy or truck gun. If you're considering an AR or AK pistol to put an arm brace on or SBR, this is one of the best choices because it still has the 12.25 inch barrel; meaning you lose some of the potential of the round, but not all of it. If you intend to put any sort of muzzle device on it, you'll need to check your state laws regarding muzzle devices on pistols and then dremmel off the weld holding the thread protector on. P-Mags, steel surplus mags, and Korean drum mags all fit and function well in this weapon.

Pure fun to shoot. The 7.62x39 round has very manageable recoil with this weapon. Other mods for AK type weapons seem to fit fine, I'm using mine with a larger Magpul grip and a 2 point sling attached to an added ring fitted under the grip at the rear. I haven't added a rail system but that would certainly facilitate use at longer ranges. No regrets on this pistol at all.
