Extremely hard to beat for the price.
Big Loop Lever
Mines in .45 colt and even shooting high power rounds it is extremely manageable.
Decent looking wood used
Lots of fun to shoot
Will make you feel like John Wayne, or Steve McQueen depending on who you relate the \'92 to more.
Trigger pull was nice, no idea on weight
Seems wrong to have an American legend built in another country.
Big loop has less than smooth edges, it\'s not noticeable during normal operation but if you like spinning your ranch hand you will want a leather wrap for the loop or to do some sanding.
Pain in the ass to load, the loading gate is very stiff and scratches the hell out of your brass. I assume this will get better with use. My Marlin (before they got bought out by freedom arms) was perfect out of the box, but it was also 3 times the price.
Awkward to shoot the first time, you quickly get used to it though, just feels odd the first time you shoot a lever gun that you can\'t shoulder. Very nice to shoot one handed
The safeties. It does not just have 1 additional safety, it has 2, and both of them are stupid and pointless. I get it, safety first, but the \'92 was never an \"un-safe\" gun to begin with and there is absolutely no reason to have not one but two additional safeties on the firearm. That little spinny thing on top is a gaudy eye sore and the key lock on the hammer is just silly. I\'m not going to carry a custom allen wrench around with me just so I can activate and deactivate my gun.
All in all, for the price, you can\'t beat it - especially with how fun it is to shoot. I just wish Taurus, and other companies, would stop stacking safeties on guns.
Too Long; Didn\'t Read = BUY IT
