Bought this firearm with a trade with Buds. Buds offer for my old gun was very fair, and the entire transaction worked smoothly, and quickly. Buds is great to deal with. The Ruger LCR is a great little gun, but the recoil needs some practice to get used to. Very satisfied with both the gun and Buds.

I just ordered my second Ruger LCR-357. This is one of the best snub-nose revolvers I have ever owned. I picked the LCR-357 because of the steel cylinder frame area for the extra weight over any air-weight. The added weight makes this a good shooter with +P .38spl. over the air-weights, while still being light enough for pocket carry (EDC/BUG). I sold my single-stack 9mm's and my air-weight j-frame's to buy two LCR-357's. Finally, I really like the mixture of polymer and stainless steel, reminds me of my Glocks. Buy with confidence--Bud's prices aren't bad...

A very nice revolver. Small and easily carried.

One of MANY purchases from Buds. As always the service was excellent! This Ruger LCR 357 shot very low. I read online that it is a common problem. Especially when shooting bullets lighter than 158 grains. Mine was shooting low with both 110s and 158s. I got the shorter front sight that is on Ruger's LCR 22lr and installed it on the 357. It brought the point of impact up to an acceptable level. Overall I am very satisfied with the LCR. I own 2 others: the LCR 38, and the LCRX 38 3".

This is my EDC. I use a Vedder LightTuck holster and a Blackhawk! Rigger's Belt. I work in a bottle shop where I crouch, bend, and lift a lot.

I've gotten three LCR 357 revolvers. Not sure if I just like 'em, or if I keep coming back for more punishment. To tell the truth, I've been shooting 38 specials in 'em. They'll get the job done. I got the .357 revolvers for the added steel frame heft and durability. A disappointment is Ruger's parts policy on this revolver. Of all the parts that make up the completed gun, only one single part is able to be purchased. And that part is the screw for the grips. You cannot even buy a pin for the front sight, or a front sight for that matter.... There are some plastic components. One that sort of gets me a little riled up about is the plastic plug that holds the ejection rod's forward detent and spring in place. That part cannot be replaced without removing the barrel. Removing the barrel is... a rather irksome affair, requiring some rather specialized tooling. No checking on my part, but I cannot see anyone but Ruger themselves having the tooling to do that. So, what's that mean to you and me? Any refinish that requires oven cure cannot be accomplished. The plastic would melt. On the other hand, if you don't mind your finish getting beat up, or Krylon touch ups... these little guns shoot GREAT. The double action triggers are smooth as the inside of your girlfriends thigh! They point well, and the sights are pretty darn good for s snubbie. Got a lot of snubbies here. J-frame Smiths, SP101s, Charter Arms... the LCR holds it own very well. The overall light weight, and snag free profile... its an easy revolver to pocket for daily carry - which I do on occasion (Kahr PM45 being my usual). That's about it. Stellar shipping and customer service, always from Bud's on all transactions... no issues at all ever with Bud's.
